Can any of Konaha11 replace a kage?

Sakura obviously, Hinata needed Nine Tails cloak to do anything against Juubi , yet Sakura dashed the owner of the Juubi like nothing. She could not even master Gentle fist before joining the war arc lol. Salty butthurt excuses will say otherwise.

I'd go with shino here. I think he has a better shot against a kage than any of the others excluding Lee obviously. Sakura and shikamaru are also in may be list.

Sasuke, Shino, Shikamaru*

Sasuke: Putting his post-war mindset aside, he could have replaced just about any Kage. A Rinnegan/EMS combo, intelligence and contacts in the underworld would pretty much make him a dangerous Kage

Shino: Come on... it's Shino. Yeah sure, he doesn't communicate much and would be more suited as an ANBU Black Ops Captain but Shino as a Kage doesn't seem that far off. He's got intelligence, really crafty (and deadly) techniques and.. IT'S SHINO.

Shikamaru: Smartest of the K11. Although his chakra reserves are next to shit, he can be one of the most resourceful Kage replacement there is. As long as he agrees to either Naruto/Temari being his personal assistant/advisor he'll be fine in terms of protection/battle support.

Analysing the other suggested replacements:

Hinata: She doesn't have full mastery of GF yet and even in battle she's still a little too... soft compared to how we saw other previous female Kage fought. Sure, her GF would be kind of dangerous but iirc nearly all Kage up to this point have long range attack abilities that can deal a reasonable amount of damage while she still has that 8 Trigrams Air Palm.

Sakura: She's basically a 2nd Tsunade and having been tutored by the 6th Hokage himself since she was a child, I wouldn't rule out her as a replacement either. Her skills as a ninja include mastery of Mitotic (I hope I spelled that right) regeneration, medical ninjutsu and chakra enhanced strength. Oh, and she's younger than Tsunade so she has an extra supply of chakra readily available to just about make cartographer (map makers) redraw maps due to destroyed terrain.

Lee: 8 Inner Gates. Get rekt. He'd be a fine Kage replacement since he's seen what the 8th gate can do so I doubt he'll try to go beyond the 7th gate unless an enemy greater than Madara/Kaguya appears. Other than strength? Basic ninja, basically like Konohmaru and a little too energetic with that youth BS.

As for strength, all k11 suitable to be a kage since Konohamaru which is proposed candidates isn't 'that powerful' enough.

Those will obviously refuse; Lee, Hinata, Shikamaru, Ino.

Those will gain approval and suitable; Choji (he done many solo during war), Sakura, Kiba, Shino , Sai, Tenten

Overall only Sakura and Shikamaru is the best one since greatly known and respected.

... Honestly none of the k11 seem to be the combination of intellect, power, and commanding presence that a Kage would need. Lee could POSSIBLY be the third strongest shinobi in the world, especially if he had 7 or more gates, which he should, but he really doesn't have the intellect. Others like Shika maybe have the intellect and presence, but not the power. Ect.

That's funny. I don't have hate for any fictional characters. I don't have a liking for Sakura, but I don't hate her. I'm also not denying her skills, which largely consist in the Medical department. She's not listed because I don't believe her to be a good leader nor do I think she's all that powerful. Strength wise? Sure due to CES.
As for Hinata, yeah I put her in, because I believe that she's powerful enough among the K11. I didn't throw any shade at Sakura nor was I trying to start something until Joshutsu threw in that Hinata bit as if triggered by what I listed.

I get where you’re coning from. Medical-ninja aren’t typically top candidates for hokage that’s pretty obvious but if Tsunade could bag a spot, Sakura definitely could. Neither are ordinary medical ninja and are Kage-levels fighters. Not to mention she occasionally runs Konoha hospital, as seen during the Pein destruction arc and she is the most intelligent woman woman in the leaf, so I disagree with the leadership but each to their own.

Hinata lacks the power to protect the leaf although I feel like her leadership skills have improved since Shippuden and she’s more confident.

And why not? You guys love calling her Tsunade 2.0... Stop trolling for a sec and look at it objectively despite the hate we all know you have for her. Tsunade was the 5 Hokage and a majority of the base agrees Adult Sakura is at least on Par with war Arc Tsunade so.....

OT: It takes more than just power. Lee is not Hokage material. He has the strength but lacks leadership skills.

I can see Shikamaru for sure he is both wise and strategically smart to compensate for the lack of power.
Choji? He has the strength but like Lee lacks leadership skill...so far as we know.

Both Sakura and Shikamaru have led unites both in war and after. One was trained by another Hokage so they would be the best candidates. Sai could possibly be a contender too. He isn’t a slouch in the power dept and he’s lead people and has proven to make some sound judgements in the grand scheme of things so I have no issues including him in the lineup as well.

Sakura, like Shizune, was promoted to Jonin by Tsunade fo her medical expertise. In combat, both Sakura and Shizune eat losses and have to be rescued. They aren't ready to have an entire village depend on them.

All things considered, she isn't fit to be a leader nor is she capable power wise.

She is more capable to protect the village than both of them and more capable to do the paperwork and make the decisions. One is just not good and one was a grunt for the better half of his life.

Sakura is A-Rank by title. S-Rank moves into ANBU and Kage type stuff.

Sakura is not a sannin. Sannin isn't a rank. It's a title. A title nobody gave her.


I seem to recall both Naruto and Kakashi scoring damage on Kaguya as well. Sasuke only touches her shoulder when the sealing was happening.
