Can Amaterasu burn a persons soul?

What will happen if an undead Edo ninja is hit by Amaterasu? Will the flames seal away his soul as well? Or will his body regenerate after the flames have done their job?

Itachi never does anything without reasonable cause, If there is no way for Amaterasu to work on an Edo...why does Itachi use it as a finishing move on Nagato before going and talking to Naruto and Bee?

Oh thats right! It has everything to do with it......Amaterasu never had a full chance to work on him, and the fact the Kabuto used Shinra Tensei to repell it means that there was actually a chance that it might have worked.

Why would someone like Itachi, who's every move is calculated, even use it in the first place if it was useless?
