Here is a comparison between Pain's CT (whom Nagato performed it at his deathbed, drained from overuse of his Chakra and lifeforce) compared to Jubi Jinchuriki Madara.

Nagato's CT approx fills up 12 mountains.

Each mountain is 67 x 59 in width and length.

Length of crater is 550.

Now comparing them to JJ Madara's Chibaku Tensei:

The red are the mountains represented in the panel, which are 12.

The blue line is the length of the crater passing them.

The yellow circle is approx the size of Pain's Chibaku Tensei, if it was pasted in that panel. As you see, Pain's Chibaku Tensei could fill up 12 of JJ Madara's Chibaku Tensei, or 50% of how many there are since there were 24 of them.

Consider that Nagato did that at his deathbed, and stated he could further enlarge it; if he was healthy, just how big can this nigga make it? Dat Nagato.

Nagatos Chibaku Tensei could barely contain the Kyuubi in it's eight tailed form, which is even smaller then it's complete form. Madaras Chibaku Tensei were way larger then Sasukes Susanoo, which is atleast the size of 50% Kurama, indicating Nagatos was smaller.

Kishi is also extremely inconsistent with scaling, so it's really not saying much.

What are the units and how'd you find the actual numbers for each dimension

Kyubi was in the mantle area of CT.

One panel destroys your whole comparison.

Whatever, it still wasn't in it's complete form. Madaras being larger is just a fact. His almost infinite chakra pool makes it undeniable that he is able to pull off techniques of such incredible size.

@Bold: Irrelevant.

@Underlined: Circular reasoning is a no limits fallacy.

@Italic: It's not ''almost'' infinite.

A direct panel shows the rubble from Madara's CT dwarfed mountain ranges.

Kishi was inconsistent with the scaling in the picture you used.
Besides, how the hell can Nagato make CT around Madara's level when he isn't a Juubi Jin and isn't the og wielder of the Rinnegan.

I could say the same thing that the picture you posted was also inconsistent, given that number of instances showed Madara's CT being as wide as a mountain. I've pasted the calc of Nagato's CT with Madara's CT, and that was the conclusion. You're repeating the same fallacy as Yokaze Sama, that because Nagato isn't a Jubi Jinchuuriki, he must can't create a big one. The problem is, it was presented to be comparable; downplaying the feat isn't an option. Nagato just that op.

Don't forget the key fact though that this was a weakened and fatigued Nagato when he made the CT, which is vital because the strength and size of a CT comes from chakra, which he was low on from battling the whole entire time, not just Naruto but other ninjas within the Leaf such as Kakashi. When he used his Shinra Tensei to destroy the entire village, not part of it but all of it, had to consume a decent amount of chakra.

Most are never going to give Nagato credit over Madara JJ & 6paths Sasuke when it come to this feat... Nagato the true Rinnegan 6paths user but he's not Uchiha so he get bashed by Uchiha boys for his visual prowess even though he's done more with the eye then any Uchiha has..

A sick & handicap Pein is the true Rinne user hands down!!!!

Funny thing is, none of them can put up a counter-argument; instead they will resort to personal attacks. Quite amusing but expected.

Terribly illogical thread. You didn't even bother scaling any of the mountains and just assumed that some mountain visible from what seems to be a few km away is equal in size to a mountain visible across the planet's curvature and taking up a good chunk of the frost country.

Not to mention that you are completely ignoring the fact that it was explicitly stated by Naruto that those pieces are even larger than Nagato's.

Here are some actual scaling calcs :

Nagato :
(replace the ***** with "Naruto forums")
Madara :

Not comparable at all.

can this guy read

and then he goes on to claim

As you see, Pain's Chibaku Tensei could fill up 12 of JJ Madara's Chibaku Tensei, or 50% of how many there are since there were 24 of them.

Edit: lel@1 neg point

The actual size of mountains isn't going to change from few to lot of km; what changes is how you view its size; perspective in other words. Anyway, I used a programme called Paint.Net; the numbers were the width and length as presented. I simply pasted those calcs to Madara's CT image and that was the conclusion. It's not my problem you don't like mathematics.

Not to mention that you are completely ignoring the fact that it was explicitly stated by Naruto that those pieces are even larger than Nagato's.

I ignored it because Naruto never saw the full size of CT. Referencing him as a source is moot.

Here are some actual scaling calcs :

Those calcs are irrelevant. All you need to do is scale them.

Bold part = Completely missing the point. Anyway, please don't lie to yourself, what you did has nothing to do with mathematics. You don't have any numbers because you never performed any actual scaling, just like last time all you did was put a line over some mountain and assumed that some other mountain from another country has to be just as big (even though the scale from which both mountains are visible is completely different). I don't think it takes a genius to realize that a mountain visible across the planet's curvature has to be far bigger than an average mountain which would barely be visible, if at all from outer space.

And since you speak of mathematics, mind providing me with some actual mathematical value of how big the mountains are in miles or kms ? You can't ? Of course not, because as I said you never scaled the mountains so you have no idea how big they actually are unlike in the calcs I provided and where numerical values were presented proving them to be of completely different scales.

I ignored it because Naruto never saw the full size of CT. Referencing him as a source is moot.

Of course, and we are supposed to ignore what the manga wants us to know and assume that Kishi had Naruto make such a direct comparison for the lulz ? Again, please don't lie to yourself. Naruto is just a fictional character and anything he says is decided by the writer of the series who wants to present a point, this time the point being that Madara's Chibaku tensei is bigger than Nagato's hence why Kishi had Naruto make that comparison. Treating fictional characters as if they were real people is silly.

Those calcs are irrelevant. All you need to do is scale them.

Indeed, all you need to do is scale them, which is precisely what these calcs did. unlike a certain someone who thinks that putting lines over things without measuring the size is valid "scaling".
