"Christmas drenches the world in the coldest of climates, but warms even the blackest hearts with love, caring, and compassion. Nothing can stop the feelings one feels during the most special time of year."
The snow fell gently onto the ground, but inside the house of Jade West, the coldness of the snow shivered in terror when in the presence of the aroma of the household.
"It's Christmas! Can't you treat me right for once in your life?!" the voice of Jade West echoed throughout her house.
"No! You're just a freak! I know what you did in that play a couple months ago. Now get out of my house!" a man's voice, her father, screamed back making the snow on the window fall down in fear.
"Everyone else accepts it! Why can't you?!" Jade yelled back with tears rolling down her face and pure sadness running through each and every word.
"Because I don't want someone like you as my daughter! Now get out!" the man's intimidating and heartless voice yelled back in response, but it hit Jade's heart.
"I hate you!" Jade screamed while slamming the front door. On Christmas Eve Night, she walked away from her home for the final time. With nothing, but tears and an ounce of small hope, she walked and walked. Not knowing where each step would truly take her. She just wanted to say I love you to the person who made her heart beat the fastest for, Cat, and erase the tears with a smile. The snow piled upon her black toboggan that had the word Cat written on it in blazing pink. She shook it off and crossed her arms for warmth. The coldness of the snow was beating her mostly black, but small warm heart. Not even the darkest of people deserved this. Step after step, the hope lost it's petals. With the last one left, Jade tried to call Cat from a payphone, but she received no answer. With more tears flowing.....the tears of not being able to reach her loved one, Jade walked down an alley and just fell onto the ground in a corner. She was truly lost and just needed her red haired angel. Fainting.....crying....sleeping.....Jade closed her eyes and just fell apart. However, she heard a faint voice.
"J-jade? Jade! Jade!!" Jade opened her eyes to see Cat running towards her. Was this a dream?....
"Jade?! Are you okay? What are you doing here?" Cat's voice drew closer. It felt too surreal, so Jade closed her eyes. Feeling more fear, Cat's voice became more worried. ""JADE! JADE!" Cat ran and hugged Jade, shocking Jade back into reality. Jade's dark eyes opened to see Cat's bright hair and enlightening eyes. Beauty one the darkest day. Jade touched Cat's hair and whispered "C-cat....thank you."
"What are you doing here?! No, never mind that! Just come with me!" Cat said while trying to get Jade to stand up.
"No....just let me die. My father thinks I'm worthless....a freak...All because of us....because of who I am...who I love...." Jade let go of Cat's hair and dropped her arm to the ground, but Cat grabbed her hand.
"It does't matter. I love you and that's all you need. Plant love, grow peace. Plant a kiss, grow a smile."
Cat kissed Jade. Her warm red lips touched Jade's lifeless black lips.
"You....always knew what to say." Jade hugged Cat and they stood up together.
"Let's go home." Cat said.
"I...I don't have one anymore, Cat...." Jade said.
"You have me. I'm your home. Wherever you go, I go. Live with me. My family doesn't care. They want the best for me. You're that." Cat said while grasping Jade's hand, inwhich Jade smiled back.
Together, they walked off.
"Merry Christmas." they said to eachother while kissing.
"I love you"

Very short and I went a little weak in the end, but it's a special. I didn't go all out, but this is it and I'm proud of it. All that matters. My first Christmas tribute to Cade. I'll make one later on that's 10000000000x better because if you've read my work, you know I can do much much better.
