And No it doesn't it. The sharingan 3 tomoe can just put the byakugan in a genjutsu and so far we don't know if you just have to feel sorrow for the person who has died close to you because Itachi, and Kakashi got MS without killing someone dearest to them.

the problem is....the buyakugan stops at only helping perceptiion... where the sharingan manifests powers that can be used physically and has great perception... so its better imo...

I think it's somewhat on the same level as a sharingan but the ms will beat the byakugan any time even if the highest hyuga member is facing a younger ms user like sasuke.

If naruto gets Byakugan nothing will change. He already has sensory skills due to SM and BM that are WAY better than the Byakugan, and the Gentle Fist can only be used by Hyuuga Clan members..

SM eye>byakaugan

The only thing that sm and km have on the byakugan is nature chakra sensing and negative emotion sensing. Byakugan is still the better sensor in every way other than that.
