my thread is a theory

therefore it is speculation, the tenseigan is of the same family tree so I don't see how this is some competition

also Boruto hasn't even truly unlocked the eyes potential

but count on it to be dragged out for the entirety of the series as it will be one of the main plots

Remember Jougan means PURE eye and so me saying it is the most purest, most base form eye makes sense

• not mixed or adulterated with any other substance or material.
• free of any contamination

And all dojutsu try to go back to their original primal/stable forms

by mixing indra chakra and ashura chakra you are literally going back to Hagoromo and he had the Rinnegan from his mother had the RinneSharringan where she got that from the chakra tree


the power of that Rinnegan via the tree is relative to the power of the said tree/fruit

Asura cannot get the Rinnegan. Only an Uchiha with the chakra of his ancestor; Indra can achieve the eyes of Rinne.
