Byakugan has always been irrelevant and it will remain like that. That's why the new author created a new doujutsu to Boruto and didn't gave him a Byakugan.

while Jougan means pure eye, swapping the word a bit makes it Jagan which is evil eye

Theory in here mostly about the fundamental of the jutsu or how its can be possible for this person to have this kind of Jutsu or what the connection of this jutsu to Narutoverse's myths. The Jagan is more of Indra's incarnation/baby but yeah lol this thread is a collective assessment that fellow members theorized plus overall dojutsu word play that in itself tells the dojutsu development structure

Again, you lack understanding, Sasuke has Yang release, he just doesn' t have an affinity with Yang release, just like Naruto can release Yin nature without the affinity.

Now having affinity is necessary to use the nature. Yang release isn't listed as Sasuke's chakra nature because he doesn't have it and therefore isn't a requirement for awakening rinnegan. Using or not using are irrelevant because Sasuke doesn't use suiton futon or doton yet they're listed as his affinities. I hope it's more clearer now that rinnegan requires only the eyes of a descendant of rokudo and yin release to achieve it.
