Byakugan/Sharringan - Chakra Tree - Jougan/Jagan - Evoltion/Plot and the Ootsutski

Jougan is likely the original eye that pre-dates the byakugan

once the founder of the OOtsutki had progeny they likely inherited the White EYE

aka a blank canvas from him instead of the actual Pure EYE the Jougan


hence they went off to try and regain the Jougan by forceful means, aka chakra fruit but failed most of the time by not having a merger but two seperate dojutsu

the higher the chakra fruit level the closer the chance

but doing it for evil means like chakra means that the current head or whoever wants it will get the Jagan (Evil Eye) instead

I have a theory about the Jagan, but I'm too lazy to create a thread explaining it. I'll just quote what I said in another thread:

Uchiha + Uzumaki genes = Jagan (Evil eye)

Maybe Jagan is red-ish and resembles the Sharingan.

Also, notice how Boruto's seal covers his left eye, while Kawaki's seal covers his right eye.

The Byakugan is just a Byakugan, it doesn't have an original form. If it did, there'd be no need to add something to it. The chakra fruit's chakra is needed to create the Jougan, so we know it's just a mutation.

No the chakra fruit is an attempt to forcefully get it

instead the user just gets another dojutsu and usually also goes insane if the fruit is potent enough (beyond level 10)


it maturing to try and get something like the Jougan takes some time and those you get the Tenseigan a bloodline effected by the tree

(the OOtsutki on the moon) with a pure byakugan


the "Reincarnated eye" though isn't actually the Jougan it is instead a unstable attempt that is almost there

Again like the Tenseigan both eyes are effect by the chakra fruit

but not by consumption but by inheritance

the reason as to why the alien OOtsutki don't have it is because they

a) didn't consume a powerful enough chakra fruit
b) they failed to evolve the eye and instead had a failure like a external eye (RinneSharringan)
c) they don't have any of that chakra fruit chakra and are missing the original piece


I tie it together to their founder being the oringal Jougan user due to the Tenseigan being called the Reincarnation Eye


therefore the Jougan which is Pure is the highest and its opposite the Jagan is its polar

The bodily bloodline of Hagoromo has no noted ties to the Otsutsuki line and comes from Hagoromo's Sage chakra, meaning that Hagoromo most likely mastered a Sage mode so strong it resonated in his DNA. The Otsutsuki don't have anything to do with Asura's bodily blood line, so it's factual.
