Because they have the Byakugan, is it implied that Hamura is the ancestor of the Hyūga?
If so, did no one in their family keep records of Hamura before his death?
Did they just ignore all of his knowledge or family whenever he was alive? Surely he had children who talked about him.
Lastly, why did the Hyūga become so much weaker than their possible ancestor when the decendants of Hogoromo were so gifted? (Senju/Uchiha)
(I'm not saying they are a weak clan, but they are when compared to Senju/Uchiha)
