Byakugan or Sharingan

This thread is just asking for Uchiha fanboys to come barging in guns blazing.

The truth is, they are each better for different things.


The Byakugan:
-Can see all 300+ tenketsus on the body
-Can see the chakra network
-Grants 360 degree vision
-Can see over great distances
-Grants vision through solid objects
-Distinguish different chakra signatures
-Can see through genjutsu
-Can see chakra color of different types

The Sharingan:
-Can predict physical movements via muscle movement
-Can cast genjutsu
-Can copy techniques (to a limit)
-Can see through genjutsu
-Can see chakra color of different types


The fact is they are both different Kekkei Genkai. Asking which one is better means nothing because it all boils down to personal preference.

For example, personally I prefer the Byakugan over the Sharingan.

The highligted part in your post. Id like to show me links to the byakugan seeing through genjutsu, but als the distinguishing different chakra signatures. Also the byakugan DOESNT have a 360 degree vision.

Anyway i will give you that the byakugan might perhaps have more abilities to it (Im sure there are more to the sharigan than what you have listed but way to tired to think right now).

What i will say is that quality> quantity.

The ability to not only predict, copy and counter ninjutsu and taijutsu alone makes the sharigan better than the byakugan. Forget about the sharigans other abilities, this alone makes it better

Well sharingan has > MS > EMS + susanoo, amateratsu, view chakra, genjutsu.

Byakugan > ugly veins around eyes > see people naked > nothing.

The Byakugan allows the user to see 360 degrees around him. I never mentioned it doesn't have a blind spot. The user can see all around him with the exception of a small point around the base of their neck that slowly radiates outwards - the blind spot

Even with this blind spot it's still factually correct to say that they have 360 degree vision

Look, I really don't want to get into another Byakugan versus Sharingan argument. At this point it's just repetitive and tiring.

Exactly. They each have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. The sharingan when honed has the potential to be much more powerful than the byakugan from what we know at this point.

We have a schewed view of the sharingan because the majority of sharingan wielders we've seen have the mangekyou sharingan. The fact is these members are the exceptional ones and not all. Most sharingan users likely never attained the mangekyou sharingan and some might not even have gotten the sharingan. The byakugan is different in that all users have it active from the start it seems.

Hey guys you forgot that the sharingan make the user blind if he uses MS techniques

Even in a battle, the moment you use MS you feel the pain and deconcentration + a slight blindness like when itachi felt in his match vs sasuke.

The moment the Tsukyomi was broken( maybe even if it wasnt) Itachi started seeing double.

Still the sharingan make the user fast but the kaiten can block most taijutsu/ ninjutsu attacks( unless amaterasu)

I would say sharingan
