And as he used susanoo against sasuke he lost his MS and sharingan design that means he was beyond his limit and was 99% dead

He is defeatable by madara and tobi.
Itachi is pretty much on the same level as Hashirama,Minato, and shishui.

He died because he wanted to. Let's just go by the facts in the anime/manga and not "what if's" please.
Also, some things to note:
Itachi once told Kisame that if they were to fight Jiraiya at that moment they met, they would both die. This is interesting because how could Jiraiya > Itachi & Kisame, but Six Paths Of Pain > Jiraiya .. when Itachi > fully resurrected 100% Nagato
Also Itachi defeated Orochimaru once when he was a part of Akatsuki and again when he came out of Sasuke. Jiraiya never managed to beat Oro and the 3rd Hokage had to give his life to even try to accomplish a win.

truthfully battles in animes arent decided by whos better they are decided by who would progress the story better. like when your watching a fight and it has all these moments where they definitely could have won but decide to sit and explain what they just did instead. like realistically the akasuki probably would have wiped the floor with the leaf village, well they did wipe the floor with them, but then pain had his moment of truth and revived them all? what really would have happened is tobi would have gone with him, they would have smoked out the village, taken naruto, then gone and grabbed bee the same way. its all about storyline progression.

1. Itachi can be defeated by lots of ninja

5. Jinchiriki who are good will own him Tailed beasts bombs until he has to force quite the susanoo and you can dodge a huge ass sworn no problem
6. Itachi vs. Nagato ....Nagato wins (remember that kabuto was controlling nagato and doesn't even know how to use the rinnengan at all plus he got help from two of the strongest characters in the series where he would have been captured without their help
7.Tobi would own Itachi and so would Madara One of them trained him and helped with the massacre (look it up)

1. So6p was the strongest ninja ever anybody who argue's that doesn't deserve to talk about Naruto.
2. i said a good jinchiriki (bee for example) could beat itachi because of his high chakra and his ability to counter genjutsu. spam beast bomb and he will eventually win and in v2 or v1 he is faster than itachi can use his amatarasu or susanoo's sword.
3.without Naruto's info on the CB he would have been sealed and his magmata thing would have not penetrated.
4. if itachi surpassed Tobi or Madara then why didnt he kill him? Itachi knew he had a grudge against the village and if he was so smart he should have known that he would attack the village eventually. so why not just kill him and save the ninja world?
5.Sasuke anyone?? his whole plan with sasuke failed so hes not the smartest
