By the end of this arc, or maybe by the final war, Doflamingo and Luffy will be allies. Not the sticky Luffy and Law type, but more like Luffy and Crocodile.
This just came to my head, but Luffy and Doffs have many similarities. Neither of them had any real connection with their parents, or time to really know them and were raised by (or with) their brothers. Both are associated with Noble families, Luffys brother being a member and Doffs actually being one, and both rose above those families.
Both also know how it feels to lose someone close, extremely close (Doff losing his mother and Luffy losing Ace), but have extremely different morals. What I mean by that is that Doff will not hesitate to kill someone close to another person but Luffy will if he has knowledge on their relationship, because he can relate.
So... the fight will still happen and everything, but by the end of this Luffy will spare Doflamingo and his allies and tell his crew not to kill any of them because he understands how close they are and can relate to the environment they grew up in.
Anybody agree?
