Whew, I sure am late, aren't I? My apologies. I'm here because you wanted to learn one of the basic elements of nature, correct? Fire I presume. Before we can actually start I have to sure you have what it takes, ya know? Now, without interruptions lets begin. First of all, what is fire? Who are the main and notable characters that use fire, and the two clans who specialize in fire? What village do they come from? Name all of the Kekkei Genkai that needs the use of fire to be able to actually use it. How can fire be useful in battle? What are its strengths and weaknesses? Tell me what you know about Nature Manipulation and Shape Manipulation, like what is it, or how is it used. What is a Shinobi or per se, Ninja?

Katon/Fire release is an elemental nature transformation which is performed by moulding superheated chakra inside the stomach before releasing it via the lungs and mouth.
Who are the main and notable characters that use fire, and the two clans who specialize in fire?
Two clans which specialize in Katon are Uchiha and Sarutobi clans.
Most notable Katon users are, Madara Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, Obito Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Asuma Sarutobi etc.
What village do they come from?
All of the Katon masters originate from Konohagakure no Sato, the Village hidden in the leaves, from the country of Fire.
Name all of the Kekkei Genkai that needs the use of fire to be able to actually use it.
YOTON - lava/magma release / Doton+Katon
Mei Terumi/ presented in a liquid form of lava
Ao / presented in the form of vulcanized rubber
Roshi the Jin of Son Goku / his Yoton takes a solidified magma form
Naruto / his Yoton is the same as Roshi's since they all get the abillity as such from Son Goku, though, Naruto version is a notch higher since he also adds Fuuton to it.
FUTTON - boil/vapour release / Doton+Suiton

Known Kekkei Touta is JINTON - dust/particle release, which wouldn't be possible w/o Katon chakra. Most known users of this elemental release are Onoki and Muu, both former Tsuchikages.
Chakra shape manipulation is an advanced form of chakra control and a technique that is pivotal for the manipulation of chakra and the creation of new techniques. It involves changing the form and movement of chakra, determining the size, range, and purpose of a technique.
The ultimate example of shape manipulation is the Rasengan, invented by the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, which is described as shape manipulation that has been taken "to the highest possible level".

A literal translation would be : A high level ninja, highly trained in the art of stealth. Roughly translates into "Walker of Shadows" or "Warrior of the Night." These ninja were considered to be very powerful in both body and spirit.

What is fire release:
Well, you're partially correct, but fire isn't always released from the lungs, via mouth. Fire Release is the usage of superheated chakra to create flames and heat-intensive attacks. Its created through channeling Katon chakra to the user's lungs and exhaling the built chakra in various forms. Katon is most commonly used in its fire-based form, but it can also take the shape of a plume of superheated ash or a misty flammable gas. In terms of raw potential, its considered the least versatile element as it excels in offensive capabilities, lacks in supplementary usage and is ill-suited to use as a defensive element. Despite this, Katon is the most ferocious element to contend with due to its sheer raw power. The heat of the element makes it capable of reducing earthen structures to molten mud, the parasitic nature of it means it preys on the oxygen within wind-based attacks to supplement the flames and even against its elemental superior, large-scale Katon techniques are capable of reducing large bodies of water to scorching mist of dense steam. The Katon element has little usage outside of destruction, to a certain degree its the hardest elemental nature to tame due to its sporadic and uncontrollable nature.

Flow? It would heat up the earth, manifesting/creating lava/magma like state.

Shinobi have learned to generate more chakra and release it outside their bodies through pressure points called tenketsu in order to perform jutsu. Chakra is not normally visible to the human eye, though it can be seen in situations where a person releases as much of their chakra as possible. So as you can see, chakra can be visible like the Rasengan Wind release technique.

Yes, you did it, great job at that. Now I guess we can move on to the actual techniques now that you have the concept of fire release down. Remember, a lot of techniques that you will learn while training in the Fire element are very similar but different in strength, with that being said we can move on. *creates tons of clones*

Now I want you to throw the shuriken at the clone I had set up for you, but as they are leaving your hands I want you to mentally command the shuriken to where you manipulate your fire chakra to make the shuriken become inflamed which would make the shuriken more deadly when using it against a foe.

Tenten seems to patiently listen to her senpai's instructions, while her lungs are obviously blowing up, she is reaching in her pouch for several shurikens, she releases multiple small compressed balls of fire chakra towards the herd of bunshins, effectively poofing half of them out; Right aftewards she throws the readied shurikens, as they leave her fingertips, Tenten is seen closing her eyes, concetrating on igniting the thrown shurikens; finally all of them are sparkled up in flames, right at point blank of the rest of the clones, headshoting them all in a proffesional bukijutsu manner.
She graciouslly walks towards senpai, coming trough the cloud off the just poofed out bunshins, dusting off her palms,

*No fire balls are released and no shurikens were inflamed.* Ah okay, basically what you did wrong is that when you are stating things like this you have to mention that you inhale and start to channel chakra up to your gullet and into your mouth and then release it or however you go about it and state that you infuse chakra into the shurikens, which you didn't do which led to your mistake. No worries though, that is normal for a newcomer so just keep on trying. And remember that detail matters as well.

Alright for the next one just do the same thing you did for the first jutsu but this time only spew out a single fireball. So perform nature transformation to get the Katon element and channel it into your lungs and build up that chakra and perform shape manipulation to form it into a ball of fire which is spewed out from the mouth that reaches in short range which can be used more to keep yourself into mid range if the opponent gets close to you or just to simply attack the opponent with a jutsu in short range.

Now this technique is a different one that you've been doing. Start off by performing the necessary hand seals Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger and take a breath while focusing Katon chakra into your lungs at the same time so you infuse the fire chakra with the air that you breathed in and perform shape manipulation to make it spread everywhere around which causes it to turn into a gas, a flammable gas because it a mix of fire and the natural air that you're breathing in. Afterwards you are to release that chakra outwards from your mouth by exhaling it and while you're exhaling it perform the shape manipulation to form it into a stream of flammable gas. Since the technique creates flammable gas with a use of a fire jutsu can cause the gas to explode completely into a large fireball.

Right after spewing out a fireball towards her senpai, Tenten proceeds with doing the Snake → Ram → Monkey → Tiger handseals while channeling chakra trough her lungs at the same time; infusing the katon chakra with the air she breathed in simoultaneously, right afterwards releasing it behind the behind the fired fireball. Due to the released gas flammability, it combusts into a notable fireball upon contact with the small one.

Due to the hand seals of the second attack I believe the small fireball would already have reached its opponent before the flammable mist goes off lol. *Gets out of the way of the fireball* Now moving on to the last D-rank before C-ranks. *creates clones*
This technique is kind of similar to the fire techniques that we've learned during the D-ranks. I want you to envision the nature of katon release before channeling your katon chakra to your lungs and exhaling the built chakra as a small but strong flame towards the opponent. The one difference about this technique is, the fireball is capable of traveling a further distance (maximum of 10 meters i'd say). I like this technique since it can be used in close combat as well, increasing its versatility.
( Katon no Jutsu ) - Fire Release Technique
We can finally move on to C-ranks now! This is the probably the the easiest and very first C-Rank. Without the use of hand seals you inhale some air while at the same time channeling katon chakra into your mouth/gullet with the use of nature manipulation and exhale it towards a clone but use shape manipulation to manipulate the fire into a stream of flames. The thing about this technique is that since it is a stream you would have to maintain it so like your mouth would have to stay open.
( Katon: Shōkasou ) - Fire Release: Small Fire Stream
This technique is kind of similar to the fire techniques that we've learned during the D-ranks. As her senpai has finished with his final inputs Tenten molds Katon chakra, she feels the intense heat of the chakra she is producing; she instantly lifts her dominant right hand, redirecting a noticable amount of fire chakra trough her now outward inverted palm, releasing a medium sized fire ball towards the empty terrain left of her senpai. The expelled fire ball disperses after 10-12 meters.
She instantly focuses on a clone senpai sent running towards her, she instantly redirects her previously molded fire chakra to her lungs, up to her gullet and into her mouth; a decent amount of it too, as it's seen that her lungs/chest has doubled in size.
As she is starting to expell the fire chakra trough her mouth, she concetrates on manipulating it's shape, compressing it and thining it out in the process, the katon burst of chakra that starts to burn out of her mouth compresses to a dense thin stream. OCC: Not to be picky or anything but next time can you describe the process on how you change your chakra to the fire nature chakra? O^O
Key Points: Well this jutsu should be only used during long range unless you have a fire specialty because of the use of hand seals of the technique you could be easily taken out while trying to perform the technique short range because of how long it would take to actually perform it.
Key Points: The jutsu requires no hand seals so it could be done pretty quickly if you're looking for something like a defensive type technique and it also covers a wide range spread enough to cover you from an incoming attack. Start by performing the required hand seals which are Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger then inhale a great amount of air while also gathering your fire chakra, you then hold your thumb and index finger in the shape of a ring, around your mouth as you spew out the fireball, remember that you have to add your nature manipulation as soon as the fire chakra is being released and follow up by adding the shape manipulation to shape it into a large ball of flames, and also when performing this technique in battles you should also state the size of the technique so there wont be any problems along the way, though im sure there wouldnt be, hopefully. Go ahead and give it a try on my clone that is currently running at you! xP Also the technique ignites externally so you wouldnt be hurt by the ball of fire, just to clarify things.
Key Points: Well this jutsu should be only used during long range unless you have a fire specialty because of the use of hand seals of the technique you could be easily taken out while trying to perform the technique short range because of how long it would take to actually perform it.
This technique requires an open flame to perform, like creating one with a lighter for example, you would have to toss the lighter forward and manipulate the small flame into a wall of flames by focusing your chakra into the flame and adding shape manipulation to shape it into a wall of flames. *Tosses lighter*
Key Points: The jutsu requires no hand seals so it could be done pretty quickly if you're looking for something like a defensive type technique and it also covers a wide range spread enough to cover you from an incoming attack. Tenten immediatly starts molding up fire chakra while doing a sequence of handseals, Snake-Ram-Monkey-Boar-Horse-Tager, inhaling a vast amount of air in the process; she holds out her thumb and index finger an a shape of a ring close to her mouth, spewing out the before collected fire chakra; shaping it in a stream going infront of her towards mid range, and in the moment it leaves her gullet and her mouth it; she manipulates it to take a form of a medium sized ball of katon chakra; it ignites upon reacting with oxygen; burning into an blazing sphere of fire; slamming on and poofing out the bunshin on mid range.
Tenten than grabs a lighter from senpai tossing it towards another incoming bunshin before lighting it; she runs in it's direction while focusing her molded fire chakra up trough her gullet and mouth; the small fire from the lighter erupts into an medium sized wall of fire, slamming onto the bunshin while Tenten runs behind it.

Well in the first technique you're not suppose to use shape manipulation to turn it into a stream, its suppose to be a fireball. And in the second one the wording is nearly completely wrong. Channeling your chakra through your mouth doesnt have to do anything with manipulating the fire on the lighter and cause it to form into a wall, though I'll let it slide this time.

This one is pretty simple. Just perform the Tiger hand seal and use nature manipulation to gather your Katon chakra then I want you to release the chakra in the form of a stream of flames with the use of shape manipulation, which runs across the ground, then further manipulate the fire stream to form into a ring of flames all around my clone. *Creates clone :3*

Then you release the fire chakra onto a cord or wire of the sorts and manipulate the flames to rush forward and catch your target on fire. There is a nearby tree where I want you to try it on, use this wire and toss it around the tree and do the technique as explained. *Tosses wire*

Listening to the last of senpais instructions Tenten molds up a sufficient amount of fire chakra, redirecting it to her lungs up trough her gullet and trough her mouth while weaving a Tiger handseal. As the fire chakra is bursting trough her mouth she manipulates it to take a form of a thin condensed stream of katon chakra, while motioning her head and blowing a circle of rampaging fire around senpai's clone.
Simple straight forward fire technique, I got no further questions about it senpai, let's concetrate on the next one now;
Tenten walks towards a nearbly tree on her right side, while taking out a big ball of wire from her pouch, she unravels the wire, tightening one end to the tree and draging it all the way back to senpais position, she holds a wire and starts to concetrate a vast amount of katon chakra, redirecting it and concetrating more and more of it in her mouth while weaving Snake-Dragon-Rabbit-Tiger handseals; she instantly breaths fire along the wire she is holding; the fire rampages towards the tree and combusts it in flames, she lets go of the wire as the tree is already turning to ashes from the intense heat.
Well, I wouldn't really use this jutsu much, atleast not untill I master katon. The main dis along with the usuall elemental ones is that it requires a wire/cord and a long sequence of handseals. No further questions, we can carry on senpai.

Alright so this is another simple yet deadly one. Perform the tiger handseal and mold your fire chakra, then release the chakra through your mouth, releasing a fair breath of flames that is extremely hot and capable of igniting jutsu that is capable of being ignited.
Key Points: Nothing really spectacular about this technique but as you can see, there is a combination you can do with this technique, pretty cool.
Perform the required hand seals, Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger while gathering your fire chakra within your lungs, then release your fire chakra and add the nature manipulation transforming the fire chakra in actual fire, then proceed to shape the flames into balls of fire with which you use to attack my clone in an unpredictable manor, this technique could also be used in combination with shuriken with which you could also control with your chakra. -Creates clone- Here, try it on my clone...
