Why do I care? Who in their right mind would sit back and watch as people they care about get effected in such away! I care because throughout my life I have been the victim of many forms of bullying and I do not wish the feelings I felt on ANYONE. During that time I had NO friends who would help me, in fact, some of the people I thought were really good friends ended up joining on bullying me. It is not a good feeling when you do not feel safe and that you feel lesser then everyone else. I am lucky because I found Narutobase as an escape, and as a result I made awesome friends, friends that accept me and that listen and care about me the same amount as I care about them!
The feeling you have when you are bullied is a terrible thing. But it gets soooo much better when you have friends who will stick by you and help you in your time of need.

Yeah, I am just hoping to get a rule about it set in place, so people can know and take proper action before things get out of hand.
Bullying or insulting counts as flaming and what not... mods will ban anyone who ingages in flaming or bullying
I personally do not think that bullying would count as flaming but understand the similarities of between them.
Make another account and tell your friends. That's the great thing about the internet: You aren't stuck just being you.
Why should you have to change who you are to feel accepted?
Bullying would mean " verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion and may be directed repeatedly towards particular victims, perhaps on grounds of race, religion, gender, sexuality, or ability."
Except for physical assault we have pretty much covered all the elements in forum rules explicitly under flaming and getting attacked physically (physical assault) is covered by the term illegal activity.
Besides, it is not possible to include every situation in the forum rules which may arise and some actions may not be covered by a specific rule defining it. Forum moderators may take whatever action is deemed appropriate in such situation, based on their discretion, regardless of lack of specifications in the rules under circumstances and if need be G-mods and admins can issue custom infractions.
If you feel you are being harassed or bullied at the forum please report or contact a mod via a PM and we will handle it.
I understand that you have covered a lot about the individual aspects of bullying, however these days, there are more ways to inflict harm to someone. Spreading rumours about someone is one that I can relate to. I've been subjected to many rumours in my life, so I know what it can feel like. Though can you tell me what someone can do? I know that the report button is the conventional way, but is there any other ways that a person can inform a moderator about a situation that can be considered bullying?
