This discussion has raged quite enough and the topic has been answered and discussed. However, i'll leave this open until tomorrow so that people can actually post until they are tired of bashing "the higher ups".

Okay... Okay... Okay

I guess is now my time to post something in respect of this discussion. Let's see how this rule goes:

"This type of ability (put ability here) is prohibited with this kind of ability in the same biography (such as having two KGs or SM with an Uchiha, I dunno, you know what I mean). But! people who had it before still can have it"

So let me understand how this rule works. Let's say I create a custom uchiha biography, then I stock it up with something along the lines of putting SM and EIG into it. Then some people know what I have done and repeat the same thing I had done, gaining a considerable advantage in the RP. The RP authority is aware of this and creates a law that prohibits the creation of further biographies with the same abilities I put on them, but I'm still allowed to keep the abilities because I done it before the law is created.

I can understand that the authority is following de facto laws, in which someone shouldn't be punished by a law that was created after they have committed the crime. But, this doesn't mean that they are able to continuesly break the law because they were able to break the law before it was implemented. Some people do not even update their bios anymore because the new rules were implemented, allowing them to keep all their abilities; while others update their biographies not being afraid of losing their abilities as they had it before the rules.

So let's see how it goes. I do something that causes a law to be created, which is imposed in everyone else but me, the culprit. This means I have access to a special biography created solely for me (and other people who followed before the law), but the law was created to prevent something like that. In such case, the law instead of interfering with me, it actually benefits me, as I access to something no one else has.

So here is what I suggest in doing:

1. If you update your biography, your biography should follow every law that has been created. This way your biography should follow the current laws instead of laws of the past.

2. Once a new law is created (such as not being able to have this ability in your biography if you have a certain KG or ability) you are obligated to update your biography conforming suggestion 1.

I know it may seem "unfair" to the people who had the ability beforehand, but it promotes actual balance and fairness into the game. This way we don't have really stacked biographies with multiple abilities, but a biography that follows laws and is "equal" to everyone else, though he may still have much more powerful abilities.

@Yard. The Pervy Sage has in his Natsu biography that he trained with toads in order to gain the ability to control sage chakra, but he is incapable of getting into Sage Mode. Controlling Sage chakra means being able to sense it and also to use some of it's unique abilities.

"Natsu got exicited at the thought of meeting Igneel again, and even more excited about the though of using more fire techniques. A couple of days after having his fortune told, Jiraiya took Natsu to meet Ma and Pa, the two elder toads in the village. After much talking they decided to teach him how to control natural energy. They took him to the sercret fountain where he'd go under dangerous training using the secret oil and learn to gather natural energy. Though the toads had to explain how their sage mode wouldn't work his with sharingan. And so Natsu mastered the control of natural energy but was unable to use it fully."

Well, those are my two cents.

The topic has been discussed... But how has it been answered? <.<" I don't remember reading an answer as to why older members get things that newer members can't... The only thing that was said was "They earned it and got it before the rule was made - Therefore they get to keep it." but is that really the way to fix the problem? Or is that the "tl;dr" answer?
Proof of the bolded.

Tell me one thing I have that you or any other RP member wanted and never gotten because of the lack of permission.

As i said, stating accusations is something that shouldn't be done so freely without actually thinking of what is being said.

Again, tell me about for example SY or Izuna. Izanami or Roku. What do they have that requires permission or to be given away and that any normal RP member can't get?

MS is won by skill so it doesn't count. 7Sm swords the same. EIG also as you need to past the test. Sound = sound tournament. Etc Etc. The rest of the abilities are made thus they come from the ingenuity of the maker (like the custom clans and ce's) or earned through skill in tournaments and other events. Nothing is given away nor do we have access to anything more than what a normal member has.

If i want to make an uchiha bio now, will i get MS? Yes...if i train to get 3t and and get permission and then pass the ms test...same as any other member.

Nothing is given to the RP mods except harassment for being the mods which is in fact ironic. :|

And the older members, if they updated their bios would mostly likely lose the most of bundle of those abilities the currently have all stacked in one. Things that were once allowed weren't taken away now that they aren't, if that is what you are trying to imply.

And when a mistake happens (which apparently was the case) its like all hell breaks lose and suddenly the system is corrupted. :| Yeah, people talk like if NB didn't have a second live in IRC and msn...

As i said, i don't like those blunt accusations spitted like that without reason.

To be honest, I was too lazy to read this before, but now i realize how awesome this suggestion really is, and the sorry fact is that some didn't reply because didn't want to lose current OPeness they have gained, while some of the rest just didn't want to upset the masters they've ass kissed so hard to gain their approval, but the most were probably just lazy asses such as myself d:
I really wish this would be implemented... :/
