I'm all for people having OP abilities and what not... But what I'm not for is that same courtesy not being extended to everyone and only those who are from the 'Old Gen' NB.
And really, if those people are only here because they get those abilities... Do they really deserve to be here?

good thinking mattlock! noob generations would teach themselves the important fundamentals eh? you need people to convey the important examples and concepts from the past. We make you a better system by kicking away our own buds? and for all thats worth you'll end up whinning over that too

Only Senseis can get MS, only other option if you aren't a Sensei is to win the MS Tourny.

Not only do you have to be a sensei but you have to get permission from three moderators and take a test and I think some more that I forgot.

My 2 cents is this:
You can't change whats already been done once a new RP rule is implemented. (I haven't been here in awhile so if that has changed correct me)
Me and Mig created the buzzard summonings a long time ago. The majority of our buzzards break summoning rules. One has telepathy, most can use more then one element and some even up to S-rank, our Boss is a forbidden ranked summoning and doesn't leave the field until dealt a certain amount of damage. Our buzzards can do all these rule breaking stuff but they weren't revoked and forced to be resubmitted. Same with whatever abilities they've gotten in the past.
As for the ass kissing. Well what can u do? Everyone on here who is even the littlest bit OP have all either kissed ass or were friends with someone. It may not be fair but u can't exactly do anything about it. If I remember correctly Dan earned those abilities although I can't say anything for Mathias. Nexus hardly ever gives permission to anyone and if he's given it to a few people, well... So be it. I've asked for a curse marc twice and Fuuin once. Even when I was a medical student, he still said no. It may be favoritism but with him, it's usually who's worthy of having it.
