Hago mentions power but he uses it in two different manors..First is the power of clan title & the second is in the form of seals (power)..
This time meaning seals granted to them both. He gave Ashura clan power but gave Naruto/Sasukse sealing power..

The seal power was just a means of getting the job done an after those seals were used they went back to the original owner..
He states he had no control over the real world activities to Naruto an it was up to them.. (SA)
Naruto sinc'd with the bijuu for his RSM before Hago arrived & Sasuke got Hashijuice from Yakushi before Hago arrived an it's why they still had RSM & Rinne after sealing Kaguya,

Hago gave them nothing but hand seals..The term power is used in different context in different scans.. If we keep them in there context an pay attention to the content in which it's been used then we would have proper understanding of the entire manga/anime..
Taking few words out of context can change the entire scenario of show altogether.. It's the problem with this base..

In the scan Hagoromo clearly states that in the past he gave power to AShura only. And Hagoromo didnt just gave them seal, he gave them power up + seals + Rikudiou chakra - As for me, Sasuke didnt get any power up but what he alrdy have within him. To unlock the Rinnegan you need EMS/Indra's chakra + Senju DNA /Ashuras chakra - which he alrdy got that from Kabuto, so as i was reading through some of the comments on the forums, Hagoromo just (maybe) speeded up a process of gaining Rinnegan and thats about it, while Naruto got Rikudou Senjutsu.

This manga doesnt even make sense at all and its full of plot holes , im not sure if this is a joke.

According to manga and some the other images - Hagoromo on death bed choose to give Ashura power over Ninshu and power up - from this scan

Also, If Ashura trained so hard to awaken the same powers as Indra + the power he got from Hagoromo this clearly states that Indra was much more powerful then Ashura - and if some of you disagree , you got the manga scan above that clearly states that Hagoromo gave power to Ashura only in the past.

But going by anime, Hagoromo was still well when he was about to choose who will be successor over Ninshu

I watched the anime adaptation of the whole Indra/ashura interaction, and it was worthy of the trashcan. Seriously, there was so much non-canon b.s. So you can’t go over that. I’m also pretty sure when he said his bodily chakra blossomed, it really just meant that he had a strong life force like the senju that he obtained and than hagoromo bestowed him with the six paths senjutsu

Nothing in those episodes were canon. I can get over it, im just wondering are these guys srsly fucking stupid or what? Cant someone of them think like " hey, but that didnt actually happened in the canon?And follow the original story instead of making their own crap? Im not saying that Ashura's chakra didnt awaken / bloomed from training - i was just want to point out these fillers and canon
