Lets see...Wind....
Wind is one of the five basic element transformations in the naruto universe, which is weak to fire, however is strong against lightning. Wind can be used with fire to increase its power, and can disperse lightning to defend against it. Wind is used in a few Kekkei Genkei elements such as Ice, which is a combination of water and wind, and with fire and earth to create dust element.

Wind element, is usually a battle nature transformation. and can be used to cut, pierce, blast and shift around objects.

Umm... lets see what else.... Im sorry I cant think of much else!

Thats a very basic understanding of wind in the Narutoverse. There are some things that wind can also do that you problem haven't thought about.

How do you think wind reacts to Earth? Or Water?Mainly talking about the reaction of clashing elemental properties.

 

[Zatanna]

I think that depending on the pressure of the wind, it can crush or pierce through earth. With a thin slice of wind it can even cut through rock. Because most earth is solid it can be difficult to combine or react with right?
Water can produce interesting combinations with wind as they can both take on a fluid motion and combine and intergrate easily. They be right next to each other and take on many shapes and forms. The temperature of the wind can change the properties of the water however it would take more energy and effort to change earth proporties.
Is that ok sensei? Is that close?

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I like to see what my students can think of on there own because I dont like to teach an element and they can't really grasp what are the possibilities and how they work together.And thats one of the reasons why I like wind and water so much. They can take on properties fluidly, and easier than other elements, such as if you had a wave of water coming at you, you can create a gust of wind to slice the water wave or push it away, because you know the water has to take upon the shape of the opposing wind, etc. Well enough of that rant.

*walks with quietly contemplating your words and listening*

Yes sensei.

*sits down and quietly listens and feels the wind around flowing and blowing. Feeling the different pressures, and swirling left around my body. I feel the wind around over my skin almost like water*

It's very calming and changing at the same time. Quiet and loud, hard and soft.

Mhm.. Meditate just a bit longer my dear U_U *sips*

*takes deep long breathes, and begins breathing in time with the wind, as it blows around, gathering in the breeze as it enters my body, and exhales out.
Beginning to feel the flow of the wind as it runs around, and clashes with my body which then splits into two. I take note that as the wind hits my body it splits into two and keeps flowing continuing on. Also feeling around me I feel the wind flowing different ways around in different directions swirling and la
The heat from my body warms the wind over my body and as it flows away cools back down creating rapid temperature changes.*

*finishes my tea*

*Hands you a leaf*

Try focusing on channeling your wind chakra into this leaf to cut it in half.

 

[Zatanna]

*I open my eyes and looks up smiling. I give a small nod and take the leaf just looking at it*

Time for the real stuff eh?

*I bring my hands together and feel the leaf between my palms and the shape of the leaf. I begin to channel my chakra between my palms moving forward underneath and backwards on top rubbing against the leaf gradually getting quicker and quicker trying to change my chakra into wind nature chakra. I begin to try and rub my chakra on the edge of the leaf trying to pierce the edge and cut through it. After a few more tries, I make a small snick into the leaf. I open my hand and look down at the leaf with a smile*

*thinks to myself: Yes Im making progress! I will impress sensei!*

*I close my palms again and begin to rub my chakra back and forth again more and faster and harder together quicker eventually making more small cuts into the leave. I close my eyes and focus and in one move push my chakra quickly against the left in different directions cutting the leaf horizontally*

Look Sensei I did it!

*I open my palm with the leaf*

Good, I understand your concept, but a more effective way, would have been to think about the sharpness of wind. To think about it like how Asuma taught Naruto, as to think of it like two blades rubbing up on one another.

Heres your first technique..


(Fūton: Fūsajin no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Dust Wind Technique
Type: Defence

Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area. This layer of sand that accumulates on the trees during this technique makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes


Focus your wind chakra in the air, gaining some control over the wind. Once you do try and manipulate the wind to collect dust from the surroundings and send it at that tree

Alrighty!

*Focuses my chakra out infornt of me swirling it around and making it pick up speed making a small twister. I make my chakra pick up more speed and flatten it out onto the ground to pick up dust. I then move my small swirling gust with the wind collected in it over to the tree and expand the tree enveloping it in my wind. I then drop my chakra with the wind and drop all the dust and sand over the tree. I take a deep breathe and look over to you*

How was that?

*Nothing happens*

This is more of a gust of wind, not really any wind circulation, or anything needing twisters of that manner. Its basically a blast that carries dust along with it. But you have to make sure you manipulate the wind in such a way so that it can lift that dust..

Ohhhhhh.......Ohhk...I think...I understand now ^__^

*I concentrate my chakra in my body and push out my wind chakra infront of me along the ground. I push it forward in a bend into and along the ground, trying to collect dust in the stream then pushing it upwards to a tree. I then push its into and over the trees branches. I keep repeating focusing on pushing out wind chakra from my chands along the ground, and then feet.*

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

Same concept but this time you are actually creating the spinning wind in front of you so that you can defend from weapons and simple taijutsu with this.

*I remember what I did before and gather chakra infront of me, slowly revolving it around. I begin to make it revolve quickly and also start to make it rise higher. As my chakra speeds up I slowly expand the circle out to roughly my size, still keeping it infront of me and continuing to make it rise till its as high as me. I push it a little hard and revolve my chakra around it as fast as I can creating a fast revolving wall of wind*
