Blocking the glaring sun from his face, Hidan begins his rant.
Hidan: "Kakuzu, how long till we get to the tradeoff point?"
(Kakuzu tightens his hold on the deceased body he's carrying)
Kakuzu: "Soon. I would think you have patience considering that prayer of yours wastes a good amount of time."
Hidan: "My prayer is necessary unlike this damned bounty of yours!"
Kakuzu: "Mine has a profit. Yours does nothing."
Hidan: "It keeps me immortal."
Kakuzu: "You aren't immortal...Nobody is. Still, even if that is the outcome, it's even more worthless. The sooner you die, the better."
Hidan: "F*ck you too."
(Hidan notices a town ahead of them)
Hidan: "This where we going?"
Kakuzu: "Yes. The office is in this town. Don't intrude while I collect my money."
Hidan: "Whatever. I'll wait outside. Sure as hell beats watching you count money."
In the town.
Kakuzu: "Wait here."
Hidan: "Just hurry it up."
(Kakuzu walks inside the building, while Hidan sits down on a bench)
Hidan: "F*cker thinks he can tell me what to do. Just you wait Kakuzu, when you die, I'll live forever...in the name of Jashin."
(Hidan notices a kid pushing a smaller kid on the ground)
Big kid: "Give me everything in your pockets!"
Small kid: "I don't have anything else!"
Big kid: "We'll see about that!"
(The Big kid kicks the smaller kid in the stomach, and grabs his stuff out of his pockets)
Big kid: "You lied to me."
Small kid: "Please leave me alone."
Big kid: "I don't think so."
(The big kid starts punching the smaller kid)
Hidan: "Heh, poor kid. Getting his a*s kicked by some fatso. Pathetic."
Smaller kid: "Please....stop"
Big Kid: "Not until you learn that I'M BIGGER THAN YOU!"
(The punching resumes, and the small kid starts bleeding)
Hidan: "Just learn it you little twerp. Get it over with."
Big kid: "Say it!"
Small kid: "You're bigger than me!"
Big kid: "Good. Now, who am I?"
Small kid: "What?"
Big kid: "Say I'm your God!"
Small kid: "N-no..."
(The Big kid pulls out a Kunai)
Big kid: "Wrong decision."
(The big kid goes to strike the smaller kid, but Hidan kicks him away into a wooden fence. As the bigger kid looks up, Hidan puts his scythe to his neck)
Hidan: "Who the hell do you think you are? You aren't God. You're a f*ckin lowlife kid."
Big kid: "W-who are you?!:
Hidan: "Seriously, shut up and move on."
Big kid: ".........."
Hidan: "Oh, goddamnit. Jashin doesn't like children, but so be it."
(Hidan cuts the kids neck a little, and licks the blood. He turns into his Curse form)
Hidan: "You like pain, don't you? Don't you!?"
(The kid looks on scared, and Hidan gets in his face)
Hidan: "Let us taste from the greatest pain! DEATH!"
(Hidan stabs himself in the heart, laughing, and watches as the kid's head falls down)
Hidan: "That felt amazing."
(Hidan looks at the smaller kid)
Hidan: "Kid, who is your God?"
Smaller Kid: ".........."
Hidan: "Jashin."
(The kid looks at Hidan, and fear consumes his face)
Hidan: "Get lost."
(The kid runs away while Hidan sits down)
Hidan: "F*cking a*sholes. Kakuzu's gonna be pissed at this."
(Hidan looks at his scythe and the blood on it)
Hidan: "Praise Jashin."
(Hidan falls asleep and memories arise.....)
FlashBack
In a village, two kids are beating up a smaller kid.
???: "C'mon Hidan, tell us who your God is!"
Hidan: "It's not...you."
???: "Who is it then?"
Hidan: "I don't know!"
???: "Better learn!"
(The kids continue beating on the young Hidan, until an older man arrives)
Older man: "Hey, you two. Leave him alone."
Kid: "Who are you?"
Kid2: "Gonna make us?"
Dad: "I'm his father. And yes."
(The father smiles, and impales one kid with a spike)
Kid2: "Please don't hurt me!"
Dad: "Leave my son alone and I won't."
Kid2: "Okay! Okay!"
Dad: "Too late."
(The dad impales the second kid aswell. After, he picks up his son)
Dad: "Are you okay, son?"
Later that day, a bandaged Hidan wakes up on bed.
Dad: "Finally up huh?"
Hidan: "D-dad..."
Dad: "Are you okay?"
Hidan: "Yeah, but that hurt like hell."
Dad: "Don't use that language son."
Hidan: "Sorry dad."
Dad: "You need to toughen up son. Be a fighter."
Hidan: "I will! Especially if I wanna be the strongest ninja ever!"
Dad: "Good, but remember, don't get arrogant."
Hidan: "Okay Dad!"
Dad: "Want to go see your mother? I hear she's doing better in the hospital."
Hidan: "Um....Dad. Who's God?"
Dad: "Why do you ask?"
Hidan: "Those kids asked me that."
Dad: "Well,, son, God is....God is a very powerful person. He stands for everything good."
Hidan: "Does he believe in killing?"
Dad: "No.."
Hidan: "Then why did you-"
Dad: "For protection. Killing is okay when you protect the ones you love."
Hidan: "Dad, are you God?"
(Dad laughs)
Dad: "No son. Now, let's go see mom."
At the hospital.
Anbu Medical: "Get the healer stat!"
(Hidan and his father walk in)
Dad: "What's going on?"
Anbu Medical: "Are you relatives of Ninya?!"
Dad: "Yeah? Why?!"
Anbu: "Come here, quick!"
(They are rushed to a room, and a black haired women is lying on a hospital bed)
Ninya: "Hidan....."
Hidan: "Mother!"
(The Anbu guys holds him back)
Anbu: "I don't think he should be in here."
Dad: "Neither do I."
Ninya: "I do. Son come here."
(Hidan walks to his mom)
Ninya: "Here.....have my...necklace son."
(She gives him her necklace)
Ninya: "I love you son. Always remember that."
(Ninya screams in pain)
Hidan: "Mom! Are you hurt!"
Ninya: "Yes.....But it doesn't hurt so bad because...somewhere....someone else is in as much pain as I am."
(Ninya begins to breathe slowly)
Dad: "Ninya....."
Ninya: "Jay...come here."
Jay: "Don't call me that. That nickname is..."
(Jay begins to tear up)
Ninya: "Don't cry..."
(Ninya begins to close here eyes)
Ninya: "Hidan.....I love......"
(Ninya dies)
Hidan: "MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Years later, Hidan, wearing his mother's necklace, is hanging with his team.
Hidan: "This is what my dad gave me. Kickass huh?"
(Hidan shows his spike to his friends)
Girl: "That's so cool!"
Boy: "Kinda scary if you ask me."
Hidan: "Don't be a coward."
(A bigger guy walks up to them)
BigGuy: "Nice toy, you trash ninja."
Hidan: "The hell man? This is awesome."
Girl: "Yeah, get lost."
BigGuy: "I don't think so. Nobody tells me what to do."
(BigGuy looks at the boy)
BigGuy: "Why so quiet? Are you scared?"
Guy: "......."
BigGuy: "Better be."
(He pushes the boy down)
Hidan: "Hey, f*ck off man."
Girl: "Leave him alone!"
(BigGuy grabs the girls neck)
BigGuy: "Okay, but can I play with you instead?"
(Hidan tackles the guy)
Hidan: "Leave them alone!"
(BigGuy punches Hidan and pushes him off of him, and then laughs)
BigGuy: "Little twerp. I'm your God. Better listen to me, boy, and just walk away, so I can play with you friend."
Hidan: "I'll walk away...But I really wanna see if you can."
(Hidan stabs the BiggerGuys leg, punches him in the face, removes his spike and stabs him in the heart)
Girl: "!!!! H-hidan....."
(Hidan begins to laugh manically, but fear overcomes his face when he looks into the eyes of his teamates)
Hidan: "I...I...."
(Hidan runs away, and keeps running until he falls down in a puddle. He gets up and and runs to an alley, and sits in a corner)
Hidan: "I....I killed him! He wasn't supposed to die....I-I...What do I do? But It.....I....It....felt so...good......Pain.......Agony....TASTES SO GREAT!"
(Hidan begins laughing, but stops when he sees his reflection in a puddle)
Hidan: "......What is wrong with me?"
Years later...
Hidan is walking into his home.
Hidan: "Pops! I'm home. The mission was a success."
(Silence)
Hidan: "Pops?"
(Hidan looks in his father's room, but finds nothing)
Hidan: "Where the hell are you?"
(Hidan notices a foot on the couch sticking out, in view from the hallway)
Hidan: "Asleep? Hey pops!"
(Hidan walks in there, but his face fills with shock and sorrow when he notices his Dad is bleeding)
Hidan: "Dad! What happened?"
Jay: "S-son.....This ninja broke in....and attacked me. He got a lucky start with my back turned and all...."
Hidan: "What'd he look like?"
Jay: "He had a sharingan.....black hair...An Uchiha....."
Hidan: "F*cking Uchiha."
Jay: "Avenge me....son..."
Hidan: "Dad? You're not dying...Are you?"
Jay: "Y-yes....Son...take my scythe in my room....Avenge me...."
(His dad dies)
Hidan: "D-dad? Dad!"
(Hidan hugs his father and grabs his scythe. He runs outside and looks everywhere for the Uchiha. Running through every alley, Hidan eventually becomes tired and sits down on a mountain side. Rain begins to fall massively, as he stands up.)
Hidan: "I can't...find him...."
(Hidan looks up the sky)
Hidan: "God! Why'd you take them away from me! YOU SON OF A BITCH! My mother! My father! EVERYONE! I don't need you anymore! YOU'VE DONE NOTHING, BUT FAIL ME! F*CK YOU! GODDAMNIT!"
(Hidan falls down, crying)
Hidan: "I....I'll start my own religion....Based on.....my father.....His name....Jashin....."
(Hidan stands back up)
Hidan: "ALL HAIL JASHIN!"
(Lightening strikes Hidan's scythe and hits him. Hidan, slowly gets up.)
Hidan: "F*cking Hell? I feel....different....Hm?"
(Hidan looks over the mountain side and see's fire and lightening light up the valley. He looks closer and see's red eyes.)
Hidan: "Uchiha!?"
(Hidan runs down there with his scythe's blades hitting the hillside. He slowly stops as he see's a man carrying the Uchiha on his back)
Hidan: "Hey! The hell are you doing?"
???: "Collecting my bounty."
Hidan: "That man killed my father! I want him!"
???: "Tough luck."
Hidan: "Listen you motherf*cker! He's-"
(The masked man turns around, with his green eyes looking directly at Hidan, while his red clouds glisten with the lightening flashing)
???: "Take another step towards me and It'll be your last."
Hidan: "You can't kill me! I'll never die!"
???: "No one's immortal."
Hidan: "I will be! Now give me the Goddamned UCHIHA!"
(The masked man tosses the body on the ground)
???: "He's dead. He is worth nothing to you, but to me....He's worth plenty. He cannot replace your father."
Hidan: "............."
???: "You can have him. This bounty isn't up to par with my normal pay. You cost me money and time. I won't forget this."
(Hidan walks up to the body and notices it's still breathing)
Hidan: "You sad he was dead."
???: "I wanted you to leave. Hurry up, so I can have my bounty. I've decided a small amount of money defeats none."
(Hidan gets some blood on his scythe and licks it. He makes a circle, while the mask man looks on intrigued)
???: "What are you doing?"
Hidan: "Experimenting.... Sacrificing....."
(Hidan stabs himself in the heart and collapses)
???: "Fool."
(The masked man grabs his bounty, but stops in his tracks)
???: "The bounty....is dead? His wounds were fatal, but..."
(He feels blood dripping from the body's chest)
???: "I never came in contact with his...."
(The masked man turns around and see's a black skeleton like Hidan slowly stand up)
Hidan: "That felt good. Jashin....Hope you enjoyed."
???: "Interesting....."
(The masked man walks away, but glances back as Hidan sets back down in the circle)
???: "What are you doing?"
Hidan: "Praying."
???: "What a nuisance... "
???: "C'mon Hidan, tell us who your God is!"
Hidan: "It's not...you."
???: "Who is it then?"
Hidan: "I don't know!"

Hidan wakes up in shock.
Hidan: "Damn memories...."
(Hidan looks up as Kakuzu stares at him)
Hidan: "The f*ck you staring at?"
Kakuzu: "I thought you were dead, but sadly I was wrong. Waiting on you, a nuisance, was like when you pray."
Hidan: "Let's just get out of here."
