BREAKING: Warner Bros and Zack Snyder have found their Wonder Woman. They’ve cast Israeli-born actress Gal Gadot in the iconic role and she will be part of Batman Vs. Superman, the film that will see Henry Cavill square off with Ben Affleck.

Zack Snyder is even on record confirming that it is, in fact, Wonder Woman and not just her alter ego Diana showing up in the movie:

My thoughts : I think the casting is terrible IMO , she doesn't even have the looks to pull it off & as for the acting , I only saw her in Fast & the furious & she was meh :/ . Personally I think DC is desperate in making this a massive hit & are pushing the movie to avengers territories & are forgetting to do step up & take their time ....there's also rumors about nightwing too & also the flash , so I'm not sure about this .

I've never heard of this actress before, but if Wonder Woman really is going to be in the next Man of Steel movie, then the movie will fail completely as a sequel. People keep giving the film shit already for the casting choice for Batman (I don't have a problem with it), but the thing everyone forgets is that this film is a SUPERMAN movie. This wasn't meant to be the pre-justice league movie (though now its looking like it is, if Wonder Woman is in it). Avengers was successful because Marvel understood that a team-up movie only works if the characters have chemistry, and you can't force chemistry between characters in a 2 1/2 hour film, so Marvel built up to the Avengers with individual movies in order to give that chemistry meaning in the future mashups. If DC is truly adding not only Batman, but Wonder Women in the next Superman movie, it just shows how impatient and greedy they are, because there will be little to no chemistry between the three and still have a working plot.

I don't really care the movies going to be crap, movie batman can't match movie superman in comics it works but the movie batman can't do half the stuff comic batman does he's sorely outclassed. Plus Ben affleck as batman remember the last hero he played i wish i couldn't.

Terrible , Wonder women is not for fan service & she shouldn't , she is one of thr strognest females in the DC universe & on pair with the top dogs too .......I'm sure the fans don;t want her character just to look sexy & ***** around with Batman & Superman .

I never said I liked it, I'm just calling it how I see it. It's clear they're just making this movie for the big bucks and to bring in non-comic readers.

Of course I would love to be pleasantly surprised, but I don't see her character going anywhere with Batman and Superman there. They should've made a solo movie of her before bringing her into this. The actress herself is not that bad.
