wellh when i was 10years old i played dbz with friends and one of my friends broken his hand ,but still no one on blame
man, i feel sorry for the kid.
suffocating while his friends are joking around. they will be scarred by this for thier whole life.

its really pathetic.... man this sort of stuff seriously underlines how foolish some kids can be......... also how irresponsible parents and adult bystanders can be...... this sort of thing however isn't uncommon... its sad though

Of all the Jutsu they could have used, why Sand Coffin? Why not Sexy jutsu? At least then the only thing the parents would have to worry about is if Naruto is making their children gender confused.
I'd give those kids some slack though, back when I was ten I had no idea you could breath out of your mouth until I tired to choke my sister by holding her nose. I know that doesn't really compare to burying your best friend in the sandbox but still, kids don't really know much unless their told or they learn the..hard..way >.>

Now let's think about this. Unless they were really young, they really don't need parents' or any adult supervision if they were playing in their backyard or nearby park. I'm only referring this to my own upbringing when I rarely had anyone watching over me when I was outside playing at around 10-years-old. I'm not saying parents don't do it, I'm just saying that at 10, most kids tend to stay close to safe areas and need less consistent "check-ins" than their younger counter-parts.
I don't find the show at fault at all, since it's merely a cartoon and therefore not in charge of raising or protecting children (like parents or babysitters are). I don't find the children at fault because children are stupid, it's how they learn. I find parents/babysitter/etc at fault in this case since they should have installed a "sense of reality" into the kids and - while I said they need less consistant checking-in earlier - should have checked on them regularly enough to know what they were doing. It takes a while for a kid to suffocate and quite bit for something like sand to do real damage - unless they started with the kid's head.
In any case, now the kids have a learning experience - they killed their friend and found out just how awesome Gaara really is. Maybe one of them will try the ressurection technique next.

yeah, because of this incident, they dont show naruto on television anymore. unless you have satelite.

its not ones fault, kids are gonna be kids, there gonna play the way they want when no parents are around. Its not like they really thought any harm could come from this. Horrible inccedent, but no one to point the finger at. my parents raised me right and i turned out great, but that doesn't mean that when they weren't around i wasn't trying to jeff hardy my brother lol.

ok, i will get trolled and flamed for this most likely, but seriously, those children must have been totally stupid, i mean, i was 10 too like everyone on this forum (i think). when i was 10 i NEVER did something so STUPID, my parents did care about me, BUT they left me with friends since i was 9 or 10, at that time i was watching for example TMNT and power rangers and things like that, BUT I NEVER even imagined to do things like what they do in those series. i mean seriously, i was playing at things like power rangers with my friends, but NOT some dangerous staff, we were playing with wooden sticks and everything, but NOTHING REALLY DANGEROUS

+ i would like to add to those who say parent´s fault that if you go somewhere, for example park and you climb tree, than you fall and break your leg, than is it fault of your parents? i was climbing trees since i was 7 and never fell, BUT if i would, no one could say it was fault of my parents

I agree- even though the children were 10 there still should have been some sort of 'check-in' for them. I also feel that if the parents really believe that the show is to blame they should have A.) not have let them watch it in the first place or B.) explain to there kid that its a show and they shouldn't mimic the characters in it. I remember watching Gundums, Salor Moon, and Yu Yu Hakusho when I was there age and I never atempted any of the things my favorite characters did on the show. So I think the parents play a big part in this- knowledge is power- and its the parents job to make sure there children are aware of themselves and there friends.U_U

you have a point but if the parents checked on them every now and then they could have seen what they were doing and saved the kid.
i used to mimic wcw with my cousins when we were little like doing the rock bottom and all sorts of stuff, till my "parents" walked in and told us you could really get hurt...you should stop
. they should put a "please don't try this at home" thing for naruto lawlz

lol I guess they should or I guess they could put the rating up on it. whatever works.
