*Noon.
The sun is high up in the sky and no clouds can be seen. It's not particularly hot, at least not uncomfortably warm. A soft and a soothing breeze of wind can sometimes be felt on your skin.
The road is surrounded by a thick forest. A forest known to be a hideout for numerous bandits, outlaws and other low lives. The road leading to the bar is empty, as Urumi calmly walks the dusty road, towards the bar.
Even from a distance, one can hear the usual racket that goes inside these "along the road" taverns. The clanking of dishes, the random hustle and bustle of customers and passengers.*
Urumi: "Ninjas...hmph!"
*Urumi inhales from her pipe and blows out a thick cloud of vanilla flavored smoke, that wonders up to the skies, beneath her big straw hat. She rests her left arm on the handles of her swords and with her right, she holds the pipe and rests the end of it between her luscious lips, constantly taking small intakes from the pipe.
As she reaches the entrance, guarding the left side of the door, a big builded character stands up from a squeaky chair, that can barely hold his weight. Urumi immediately calculates the situation with the surroundings. Before she is about to stop in front of this gorilla looking grunt, with more brawns than brains, the mug let's out word with the most annoying voice..*
Dumbass: "Ey! Where d,ya think ya goin? Can ya read the sign?"
*The grunt points with his thick finger, towards a sign that says "Welcome Fellow Ninjas". Of course, a samurai of her mental caliber, is more than annoyed by this.*
Urumi: "Can you?"
*The grunt makes a grin of anger, shame and clearly his ego has been damaged. And by the looks of his grin, so are his teeth.
Urumi exhales a smoke cloud, towards the grunts face, and takes a slow but determined step, in order to go inside and the grunt grabs her by the left shoulder. A mistake, he will eventually realize. Urumi instantly grabs his thick wrist with her left hand, squeezing and twisting it and moving it behind his back, thus turning him around. As he is facing the entrance, arm twisted behind his back and Urumi standing behind him...*
Urumi: "Shall we?"
*Urumi kicks the monkey in the lower back, and pushes him inside, bashing the door open. The giant falls to the ground and serves perfectly the purpose of a doormat, as Urumi walks inside over him.
The eyes of the whole bar are fixed upon her. The bar itself is not too lit nor is it too dark. The structure it self looks well taken care of and most certainly, a housemaid of some sort visits it on a regular basis. Few tables, more than enough chairs of the same size and shape. Couple Shogi tables have also been set up...figures. Drunken ninjas boasting their wisdom behind their sake clouded minds.
She walks towards the counter as the bartender is, believe it or not, drying a already dry glass with a napkin.
Before he can ask what she would like to freshen her self with, she spreads a row of ryōs on the shiny wooden counter and firmly says*
Urumi: "...rum..."
Bartender: "Yes ma'am."
*She makes her way towards a table, close to a window and sets down. While she waits for the rum, she fills her pipe with tobacco, ignites it and takes a deep breath of relaxation.*
