That the sharingan can copy jutsu with p effort from the user past activation. Now that's just the eye let alone 1 with an I sea incarnates talent.

Boruto still hasn't even grasped the concept of ''cheating'' and doesn't know when someone is cheating and when they're not. He thinks using technology in general is cheating.
He's a former cheat, but a former amateur cheat.
He couldn't even tell the difference between Naruto using the prototype against him and him using the KOTE he was blatantly forbidden from using in the Chuunin exams.
Hence Sasuke telling him he thought he had finally grown up when he complains to Naruto about using the prototype in their duel.
So much for our prodigy.
He really needs Sasuke's guidance.

Hard work came later on after being reprimanded and humiliated by his father in front of an entire audience.
Well, he did learn his lesson.
Boruto is undoubtedly portrayed to have more talent than his peers, but that doesn't mean Sarada doesn't work hard either.
Her Jonin level shurikenjutsu skill didn't come to her overnight. She practices day and night.
Her Sharingan prowess as well is also a demonstration of her hard work and talent. Sasuke couldn't copy jutsu until he had 2T.
Sarada's done that already and she only has 1T. You think the strain just came out of nowhere? She was obviously using the Sharingan beyond what it's capable of at that stage - through hard work.

This bait sucks even more than your last one considering they told Boruto about the device after the spar.
Plus Naruto knows better than to test technology against someone he disowned on live TV for technology use.

Nice fapfic Sarada learnt scj with pure talent as well copied the seals and instantly applied them. You can copy jutsu but still require the talent to apply in case you've forgotten that. It's mastery of a technique not learning it which sets people apart as in not needing to use a cheat cartridge.
Even the 3rd knew all the techniques in konoha it didn't change the fact that he was well fodderish.
Yeah I don't think he cared since he wanted to take short cuts. I guess he didn't expect the boom in technology use from the one person who scolded him the most.
But it's interesting to see Anime wise that they are having Boruto learn his stuff, even tho he's def not mastering anything.
By himself too. Sasuke learned his first elemental nature around this age with Fugaku at his aid, it'll be interesting to see who helps Boruto learn his first jutsu, or if he invents his own.

Looks promising when he's learning a variety of elemental jutsu, but then it's not going to be really effective or impacting if he just learns one or two jutsu for each element and moves on. At that rate, he'll be like the 3rd Hokage who learned all the techniques but never actually mastered anything in particular. Even Kakashi who has exceptional mastery in lightning release still pales in comparison to Naruto who stuck to Wind Release since day one. Boruto is already versatile enough anyway, and is good for the time being.
All he needs now is some training on something actually interesting that'll diversify his fighting style or make it more defined. Gentle Fist would be fruitful per say.
Boruto is a Genin and already know 3 Chakra natures.

With the addition of chapter 16's feats, Boruto has wide scale (for a Genin) Suiton and Raiton ( and combine them ).

Boruto has a fully mastered Rasengan, has been shown to have better CQC plus, Shojoji was gravely injured with Boruto's Rasengan before his mark nerfed him. ( Shojoji is considered an S-Rank in the Bingo Book )
Sarada needed to be saved by Boruto or Mitsuki after fighting two of Shojoji's henchmen, Boruto fought twice as much as her, and barely broke a sweet.

Agreed. Elements probably are just used as backup, he'll prob be dormant on his dojutsu and what accompanies it overtime. His versatility will probably fall back to eye spam like it usually does.

From today's episode I learnt two things Boruto still hasn't learnt the futon jutsu and nobody actually know what he used. Boruto takes orders from Sarada he's getting primed for the underling role.
