So now all a sudden more elements = bigger prodigy now. Mads Sasuke Itachi would all give Boruto the business.

You actually think academy Sasuke is that weak? let's be real academy Sasuke just after graduation impressed kakashi(Bell test) with his skills. Without using an array of flashy jutsu, knowing jutsu is all well and good but practical application is what differentiates the prodigious ones from those not so prodigious.

12 year old Sasuke : went to final of chunin exams with no difficulty , beat Gaara low difficulty , Beat Naruto high difficulty , had Lee's speed , etc .
12 year old Boruto : went to final of chunin exams with cheating , beat all exam opponents by cheating , beat Shikadai with cheating , is nowhere near Lee's speed .

Sasuke trained his ass off. Boruto didn't train and didn't put any effort in. If you want to make a fair comparison compare both of them not training or use Boruto after he started taking training seriously, which is post Momoshiki.

I dunno why people keep talking about the 3 elements as a feats, Sasuke learned lightning release in less than month while simultaneously learning Lee's taijutsu and increasing his speed to his level, and then learn Chidori, while keeping his CS in check.

Give the guy 3 months tops and he would have all 5 elements, needles to say it's not worth it when he can focus on on other areas.

Difference is, Boruto didn't train to learn those 3 elements along with Shadow Clones meanwhile Sasuke trained hard with Kakashi to learn Raiton. When Boruto actually started putting effort in he started showing high level elemental Ninjutsu for a Genin and he mixed Rasengan w/ Fuuton which is something Naruto and Minato struggled to do.
