I just saw a rasengan. that all.

Well figuratively speaking, you can see wind around it. Or at least you can with HD and not taken from a cam rip.

Anyway I knew this would come up eventually so I was prepared in advanced. When the cam rip leak came out I asked my friend to translate what Sasuke said, but she was busy translating the Boruto: Movie Novel and she said so in her message back to me.

Not sure where the exact footage is anymore because I asked this a LONG TIME ago. Though I did get a good gif out of it, so you can find the scene and ask a Japanese speaker to translate what is being said yourself. Friend made the gif version of the scene:

My complaint was the clip(first) you showed couldn't tell if wind was adding into the resengan. Naruto have made several resengans where it looks like wind is being added but just chakra swirling around.

I agree that its wind. I don't see any other resengan being able to be thrown without losing form and fading out.

I agree that its wind. I don't see any other resengan being able to be thrown without losing form and fading out.

True. I've actually seen some weird theories on it (from NF) on what element it would be, despite like I said it looks like it's wind. Someone even said he applied Yin and Yang to it and I'm like "wut"

The thing is, the spiraling affect in the Movie is not blue (like Endless and I talked about). In the Movie it's white.

The first time he used the Rasengan and showed it to Sasuke it vanished, and the second time he used it (with the device) it was only for show.

The third time he used it against Momoshiki and it vanished.

In the video I posted in the OP, that's the first time he uses the Vanishing Rasengan ever. When he threw the Rasengan after Sasuke said it looked small it disappeared, so he ran away thinking that he failed beyond measure. When he's running away Sarada comes in to talk to her father about Bolt, and then Sasuke notices that his Rasengan after vanishing striked a tree on the right side (it curved). It's in the video

In the dimensional battle there is a flash back about it when Sasuke is explaining the nature of his ability.

That's sort of what happened. After his Rasengan worked, Boruto started to smile while Sasuke explained that during his training he noticed that he applied an elemental nature to the Rasengan. Boruto ran off before he saw its value because he thought he failed. It was the first time he actually tried hard on something in a while so he was expecting Sasuke to be impressed lol.

I've loved reading the novel. It's one of the better written novels out of all the Naruto novels they released.
