No, it took him longer than that“It took the Fourth Hokage three years to develop this jutsu. It took the Seventh Hokage, your father, half a year to grasp the essentials of it. The degree of difficulty could be expressed as an A rank. Think about that. Properly go through the lesson steps. That’s how I mastered the jutsu too.”
Took Naruto a week..no 3 days to master the rasengan....
Naruto began the first step hereYou must be registered for see links(day 1),You must be registered for see links(Day 2), the sun setting then rising then showing the moon shows another day passingYou must be registered for see links(day 3), Naruto got step 1 down by the 4th dayYou must be registered for see links(day 4).
Step 2 started the same day Naruto finished step 1 (day 1), look at the moon, The moon is in its waning crescent phaseYou must be registered for see links(day 2) it takes 8 days to go from Waning crescent moon to full moon so 8 days passed in this one scanYou must be registered for see links(day 10), this scan shows it being waning crescent moon again which is 15 days from full moonYou must be registered for see links(day 25) about 3 days per phase, he mastered it the next dayYou must be registered for see links(day 26).
Third step: Naruto starts it early on the day they find Tsunade (day 1) then trained for 6 days after thatYou must be registered for see links(day 7).
So in total, Naruto trained for about 37 days to learn the Rasengan.
But Naruto's very first rasengan is bigger than Bolt'sNo, it took him longer than that
I wonder why it said half a year though...If the movie says that then it's going to be a retcon to **** up the original time line :l

You're good man. I thought it was a week too at first :lolNaruto learn it while jiraiya was looking for information on the whereabout of tsunade. That only took a week.
edit:ah nvm. Guess I need to reread part 1.
Considering the gap in how long it took Naruto to learn it, and Boruto's .. I'm not surprised. But Naruto's very first rasengan is bigger than Bolt's

In the movie he finished in less than a weak, and he barely got it down and just ran off to show Sasuke, meanwhile Naruto was working his ass off to make it perfect. Obviously, two different people with two different mindsets right now.
I don't know that oneHOLD UP! SO SASUKE WAS IN ITACHI'S GENJUTSU FOR nearly A MONTH or more??
I don't know that one
Itachi was a ****ed up brother at times too.Sasuke was under Itachi's genjutsu or still dealing with the aftermath of it until the 5th hokage came to the hospital and put her hand over his head.
Kakashi was also in the hospital too.
Damn that itachi. Some powerful ass genjutsu with some serious aftermath effect.
No it was Katasuke. Is it true, that in the novel, Sasuke is the one who drove Boruto to use the jutsu gauntlet?
No it was Katasuke.
I haven't read the novel, but since it follows the movie script. It will be the guy who created it, Katasuke.
Dumblr is retarded. Only three chapters have been translated (Prologue, 1, and 2). The people who have the novels, also saw the movie (if not then they bought it online). If they did buy it online, they must understand Japanese.People posting about the chapter on tumblr, say it was Sasuke.
This is why I avoid novels and comics of movie productions. They rarely follow the script (normally because they don't have all the details) and make things up for their own adaption.
After this scene Boruto uses the device to make the Rasengan bigger for SasukeNovel said:“…so in the end, turns out hard work is lame, and doesn’t bring results at all.”
Boruto was cradling a mug of hot chocolate in his hands as he talked. He was in the lab of the Scientific Ninja Tools Division.
“Ah, I see. That’s such an awful story.”
Katasuke was comforting him. For Boruto, Katasuke was the only one who listened to what he had to say without laughing at him, a precious person.
“I do have something like this…” Katasuke said, “A cool and sart looking thing, no hand seals needed, something that yields huge, limitless results with little effort.”
“?!”
Fire, lightning, and wind had appeared above Katasuke’s palm. He hadn’t made a seal, or accumulated his chakra.
The “Gauntlet” was in his hand. The ninja tool that Konohamaru had used.
“This is a ninja weapon for the new generation! Don’t you think?”
As Katasuke pulled out several poses, several bright balls came out of the palm of his hand.
“A-are those…?!”
“Yes, they’re Rasengan.” Katasuke smiled widely. “If you used this, you’d be a ninja that surpasses your father.”
“…I could use the Rasengan…”
“Now then, young master,” Katasuke extended his hand. “Why don’t we choose a killing technique that’s just right for you…”
Boruto took his hand.
He didn’t even hesitate.
I guess it's bothIs it true in the novel that Boruto shows he is a true genius?
Hell no.Is there a novel when sakura and sasuke travel together?
