It probably won't be chidori. I suspect Bolt will, in a symbolic way, "complete" chidori like Naruto completed ransengan with FRS. Chidori was meant to be Kakashi's version of highest element+shape transformation. However, in his failure to do so, he created chidori in the process. So Bolt will probably end up making what chidori was meant to be, but not the weaknesses that Kakashi had to compensate for.

He was going against Naruto and that was PIS, kishi wanted another jutsu clash and for them to meet in that white area otherwise naruto would have countered him just like he did in chapter 698. Sasuke hasn't overcome this weakness because it's a fundamental flaw of the jutsu. Like i said just re-read chapter 698 the ONLY reason Naruto countered Sasuke is because his sharingan faded so he couldn't read Naruto's counter even the kyuubi praises Naruto for taking advantage of that opening.

First of all, the example I said was after the Danzo fight. Second, Sasuke stood in place when he sent Chidori to strike Naruto, and then he uppercut him. That gives no insight on Sasuke overcoming its weakness by being stagnant. :lol

Actually no. I was thinking about the samurai style of using a long one for attack, and a short one for defense.(or one of Luke's styles from Star Wars EU) Imagine how cool it'd be if Kishi dived into this style and put in ninjutsu for it.

Things are promising right now although things are too good to be true, not sure if this is the Prime Kishi that brought Naruto to its peak, hopefully it'll be better than our expectation.

Anyway I'm not surprised that he will be getting lightining style, I knew Bolt will be learning from sasuke. However, I don't think Boruto will be passed down the chidori because it'll be another carbon copy technique and Kishi did stated he will perform his own unique ability. Bolt is a prodigy so I'm sure he'll mastered his own technique.
