Of course we know who are in denial: those who still tries their best on tumblr to bashing the entire franchise in the hope to force Kishimoto to create the "true NaruSaku ending" for 5 months already despite saying they abadoned the franchise, yet coming back everytime. XD XD XD
Also, if Hinata didn't had character development, Sakura's was even worse: she couldn't escape from the "love triangle", even when that Stone Ninja confessed love she was forced to stay in the triangle so both NS and SS fans would still reading it. She was the most saved character in the entire franchise, she needed to be saved even more than Sasuke + Naruto + Kakashi altogether even after getting her asspull never hinted/foreshadowed power up. Every time when she tried something it ended in failure - she couldn't defeat Sasori but Chiyo had to both defeat and kill him, she couldn't kill the already weakened and bleeding (and literally dying) Sasuke, unlike Tsunade Madara didn't even need to move a finger and so on. Even "punching Kaguya" was technicaly Kakashi's feat as he was the one who dropped Sakura on Kaguya.
Was Hinata badly developed? Maybe, maybe not, but Sakura's character was just as bad as her.
