thx but really nothing new here, he said it before during the Last promo that the manga work is over for him and he will be in charge a lot more about the animated stuff, so Boruto the movie is canon just like the Last and probably all the other movies after it will be too.

For example, he said that the The Last was canon, but he said that RTN was filler.

See, what is truly makes something canon if the mangaka says that it is canon. Not how much was he involved. Even Oda confirmed movies canon for One Piece where he wasn't involved at all.

Should I mention that Kishimoto said he wanted bringing Otsutsuki Toneri back to Boruto movie too?

You didn't answered to my question at all, all you said "I consider things canon only what Kishimoto wrotte", despite it is not how things works as only things count as canon what he confirms as canon.

Also, no connection? Rikudo-Sennin's FIRST appearance was in The Last - one of the huge spoilers - placed into the canon story, Boruto and Himawari in the final scene and so on. So yeah, pretty connected.

For the movie, I hope you don't have another NaruSaku "it was just a genjutsu, here's the real ending" hallucination cause we had tons of them already.

Should I also remind you that Kishimoto said he wanted to show Naruto as a parent? Here's his chance for it.

I did not say it was not canon now did I?I simply said that Kishi has said this movie is connected to the storyline as much as possible and there is no need to read the manga to watch the movie..He didnt say entirely connected and its possible there are some non canon elements in it unlike this movie

Just by comparing his two messages,I can see this one reeks of confidence,certainty and enthusiasm unlike The Last

Bolt and Himawari were decided well in advance when the ending was drafted many years ago so its hardly surprising they are in the movie
And Hamura was also completely irrelevant till this movie dropped.Tenseigan was not even mentioned as a companion dojutsu which existed prior to the Rinnegan whereas we were shown glimpses of Rinnegan right from Part 1

Well sad to say, but you're in the minority then. I haven't heard or seen hardly any people that were genuinely interested in the new generation, including myself.

Only interested in Hokage Naruto at this point, seeing how Sasuke is off looking for Kaguya, there is probably nothing interesting about that. I would rather see the main character as he achieved his goal.

The only way for me to enjoy the new generation is this Boruto/Sasuke tag-team that I have been hearing rumors about that is supposed to mirror Gohan/Piccolo. Without that, I'm just in the middle.
