Boruto marrying Sumire is IMPOSSIBLE

Who cares about pairings honestly.
If Sumire still likes Boruto in the Manga then it's gonna be possible.
Sarada and Boruto's relationship is stronger post-Gaiden Arc (Boruto Movie and the current Mujina arc) so Sumire looks pretty irrelevant IMO.
I don't mind Boruto smashing both when he's older tho. He gotta spread that solo seed Zzz

How so? Manga came first and not anime. First come first serve. The fact that Boruto never show this eye in the manga mean Anime is non canon.

Objection! Borito Manga is set after the events of Boruto the movie and before the Boruto anime, where the new Konoha Academy Students are fully established. Whereas the manga they weren't even made yet
Come on now pick up the obvious on who loved who from the beginning, it's typical shounen pairings, of course their gonna have basic pairings like NaruHina and SasuSaku, people predicted that it was gonna happen ever since episode 1, would make no difference from this one, and in this case it's obvious Sarada likes Boruto from when they were like 4 since it showed hints she has interest in him in chapter 700. But you talk about whatever should mostly focus on the mystery and action tho.

Its not about 'setting' but 'connection'. What happen in anime is like a 'made up' and not planning accordingly. But thats nothing new actually. This happen with original series also between SP and Kishi's works

Boruto showed the Jougan in the first chapter of the manga. Remember the flash forward.
OT: The absence of Sumire and the others in the chunin exams can easily be explained away as them simply not taking the exams, or them failing one of the early exams. Remember the tar pit exam and the capture the flag exam? They could have lost in those. Besides, not even Sarada and Mitsuki have been getting much attention in the manga, so why would Sumire and the others? In short, Sumire and the others can easily be added to the manga.
1: What's SP?
2: Of course, setting has something to do with it, and so does the characters made before, during and after the manga's conception. It makes a difference since in the Movie it shows it one way, and the Manga explains it in another way. The Anime is bringing more light to this and providing a much larger cast to work with in Konoha, since we aren't dealing with the Genin Tests yet.

First, I thought It just a different eye and maybe he acquired it later after Momo arc.
Second, to make it credible that this all is not a 'made up', at least Boruto needs to show activating this eye one time in the manga when he still a kid be it in Exam or against Momo.

Lol haters are so mad but it's obvious Boruto and Sarada are going to be paired. New gen Otsutsuki bloodline is on the way
actually since Boruto is only 1/4 Uzumaki and 1/2 Hyuga, mixing with Sarada's 1/2 Uchiha blood could be something entirely different than what we expect. Yet, if Boruto was 1/2 Uzumaki and 1/2 Hyuga I'd be unsure still.
Also if the senju dna mixed with Sasuke's biology has done anything noteworthy, that could change things too.

What do you mean by "made up"? The flash forward scene in which Boruto showcases the jougan as he faces off against Kawaki is present in both the manga and anime. Why then, does it matter whether or not he shows it as a kid in the manga? Shouldn't it's presence in both the manga and the anime be enough to render the eye as canon? The anime even explains its absence in the chunin exams/Momoshiki arc by telling us how the jougan went dormant once the ghost incident was settled (and the ghost incident took place chronologically before the Boruto movie events).
