Guys if you like this series there is nothing wrong with it but you cannot deny the fact that boruto is a forced series and the reason for that is real creator never wanted to create more content after chapter 700 of naruto manga but because of it's huge popularity he assigned one of his students to continue it with boruto.

It is very similar to what happened to dbz real creator quit and others give us dbgt which had no feels of early dragon ball or z so it resulted in a big failure.Same thing goes for Boruto, the series literally have no feels of naruto or naruto shippuden and compared to naruto logic in this series looks trash until chapter 21.

Maybe Boruto is somewhat doing good in overseas but in Japan it's a straight flop. Manga of boruto was not even on the top 20 chart of 2017 itwas defeated by black clover, dragon ball super manga (which is showing same plot as anime) and the series which Boruto should be on par with were leagues above it my hero academia was on 3rd or maybe 4th place, attack on titan was on 4 or 5 place. How disappointing for the series which never got below top 10 or at least 15

Note-: People outside of this forum never talks about Boruto.

The anime should probably focus their attention more on the Hyuga Clan development since they seem to get higher ratings when they are involved. Everything else seems so meh.

Yh but 123fire only seems to like it because of Kawaki hype so it's kind of a trash.
Don’t be mistaken i don’t like it just for kawaki . That doesn’t make sense he still didn’t appear in manga and anime but i’m still enjoying both anime and manga but manga morw lately. Anyway don’t like it? Don’t watch it

The ending and time skip in the manga was forced due to unsettling fans, so it only makes sense that it would turn out like that. IMO, it's not as bad as people make it out to be, though, it is not my favorite by any means.

I genuinely like Boruto. It's flaw however, is the pacing of the manga. The problem is the fact that we get about as much plot progression in a Boruto chapter as we did in a Naruto chapter. This would be fine if the manga was weekly, but the monthly release renders this rate of progression as a snail's pace. Having said that, they can't allow the anime to get too far ahead of the manga (even though it worked for DBS). However, the snail's pace of the manga is causing the anime to have to hold off on getting to the main plot and stay in these fillerish arcs.

This of course causes fan dissatisfaction with both the anime and the manga because the anime is forced to stay in this fillerish stuff like the byakuga gang arc, while the manga moves way too slowly for many people.

If you ask me, Kodachi should take some tips from DBS or even a lesser talked about manga such as To Love Ru Darkness.

Both of the above series have/had monthly release chapters, yet there was actually significant progress and development in just about every chapter (unlike in the Boruto manga). I also think that maybe they should let the anime surpass the manga like DBS did.

I honestly think it comes down to the pacing. They should have had the anime start before the movie, then released the movie, then released the expanded chunin arc we will be getting, while at the same time also starting the manga with that bandit/kidnapping arc. Then there would be action and development from both the anime and manga that is plot relevant rather than just awkward build-up or filler crap.

If they had done it that way, it probably would have been received a lot better by even it's Japanese audience.
