Boruto's CQC skills were fodder in this chapter considering he is half Hyuga.Nowhere near someone like Neji.

I agree however I don't think they can be overkill so early into the manga.
Reading this, I did notice that there is an interesting point to be made here. Boruto lost a taijutsu match in the same chapter where he later picks up a sword.
Maybe they're trying to tell us something.

Why not ? Not all fans are die-hard like zealots some acknowledge facts for what they are.
Yeah but only after he uses his free handout sword and free handout alien ghost seal.
The sword ain't that bad since he's using his own chakra and it just manifests a blade. It doesn't have automatic powers.
The seal IDK. If he uses the Dojutsu it's game over :Sparks:
It would be kind of sad if Boruto uses the seal to beat Ao and Mitsuki doesn't use Sage Mode.
We will see. Boruto can obviously use the seal or his weird eye power to power up and Mitsuki can use sage mode which he has never really used. Sarada is a little more restricted with power ups since gaining a tomoe or two in her sharingan won't really do much so she would have to gain the mangekyo to really matter but that would take something tragic to happen and going from one tomoe to mangekyo is a little much so she may not be able to keep up at that point.
