Look on the Naruto wiki, Kishi admitted that he initially forgot to give the kids any Byakugan, as such in chapter 700 and the Last she doesnt have it. That in itself shows the effort he put into creating the new generation and his focus was more to finish the manga. The one shot was only released recently to try and correct that.

There is no doubt in my mind that Kishi pretty much rushed the ending and made these pairings happen out of fanservice. But saying that he does not care for the newer generation just because he forgot Byakugan on the NaruHina children, does not really add on to what actually happen. Because Kishi shitted on the older generation to by not completly finishing off there stories. So going by your logic does it not also mean that he never gave a shit about the older generation?
