Its getting beaten by new JUMP series that don't even have an anime yet like Promised Neverland.

DBS started of with bad manga sales yet sales have increased meanwhile Boruto is doing the opposite: sales are continuing to decline..

It's funny how V4 didn't outsell V3. V3 was mainly a movie recap, while in the V4 we at least got some plot progression. The best thing that could happen to Boruto is getting canceled tbh.
