I overexaggerated a little, but this boring sequel doesn't have shit on DBS. I can't even consider it a sequel since it comes off as filler and seems to be scripted out of some fanfiction Kodachi read through in his leisure time.
Facts.
Shippuden ( war arc ) struggled to get in the TOP10 ( TV ratings ) while DBKAI and DBS are constantly in the TOP5... Boruto in 50 episodes never get into the TOP10

Despite everything, Boruto is still trash tho. I tried watching this and it's just boring and lackluster. The only reason why it survives is because of the old cast (Naruto and Sasuke mainly).

Its getting beaten by new JUMP series that don't even have an anime yet like Promised Neverland.
DBS started of with bad manga sales yet sales have increased meanwhile Boruto is doing the opposite: sales are continuing to decline..
Inb4 "it's monthly that's why..." Attack on Titan is monthly and sells millions, Boruto just has a poor story.

because it's monthly and SLOW. the story isn't what's bad it's just the pace and the fact it's monthly. i mean look at the last 6 chapters. these would make the anime take a giant boost in sales.
@Bold Told ya... As I said AoT is monthly and yet sells millions, Vinland Saga is monthly and yet sells millions, etc.. find another excuse.
It's funny how V4 didn't outsell V3. V3 was mainly a movie recap, while in the V4 we at least got some plot progression. The best thing that could happen to Boruto is getting canceled tbh.
Attack on Titan is monthly and it's doing just fine. People are dying over the cliffhangers and for the excitement of the next chapter.
