If you watch it slowly and pay close attention, you can tell that Hassaku tries slashing him, but Boruto escapes with a cut on his cheek. Still, the fact that he blitzed him like that even though his opponent was going for a kill shot....goddamn.

If Boruto were born in times of war, I am convinced he'd be a prodigy as talented as the likes of Itachi.
