I agree with what Obito said - But maybe the slow transition is for them to slowly develop the story line instead of rushing it. Similar to how SP used fillers to bide time.

The only thing new here is the description of the tattoo, but that still gives us no context.

Basically there's no point in even following the series until after the fourth chapter until we get new content.

This. I do like how they're trying to keep the shock factor from chapter 1 going by going back to Boruto's fight, but I think it might be best for them to dig in their heels and get through the Boruto movie as fast as possible.
