Boruto and Kawaki Tattoo Bet/Theory Thread.

Going by the flash-forward it seems like these 2 tattoos are going to be new main powers of series. So what are they and what can they do? How did they get them and why does it seem to be 2 halves of one whole?

Just a Theory/Bet thread to see if anyone is able to call it b4 we find out so bring out your best fanfic boys.

If I had to guess...almost like how in FMA the alchemists have arrays tattooed to boost their combat efficiency... The tattoos will boost jutsu power or have some passive ability.

Curse Seals, if not I'll be surprised.

Probably infused with Rikudou Senjutsu than the normal version Hebi Sasuke/Sound Ninja used.

If someone pulls up a scan of Boruto`s right eye with the markings on it, you'll notice it looks very similar to Orochimaru`s eye. Kawaki too.

On mobile so sadly I cant do it atm. I might edit this post later if no one does it, so be on the look out.

I'm leaning towards like Boruto and Kawaki were exposed to some sacred power and that Boruto wanted to use it to protect the world and at first Kawaki did as well but then his views changed after something.

I mean logically there's really any possibility on the table. Just based on design can't really confirm it, but I thought it was suspicious. They originate from the arm unlike past Curse Seals which have a smaller tattoo generally in the neck area, right?

Plus we have no idea what they do so :lol

Cursed seals dont specifically go on the neck. Kimimaro's was on his chest.

It seems similar to the curse mark but more powerful. Perhaps it contains rikudou senjutsu? I also think it's otsutsuki related.
