Going by the flash-forward it seems like these 2 tattoos are going to be new main powers of series. So what are they and what can they do? How did they get them and why does it seem to be 2 halves of one whole?

Both the Protagonist and Antagonist have the mark. Ones red and the others blue, light/dark, 2 halves of a whole. Anyone with common sense these can tell these tattoos will play a pivotal role in Boruto series power scene.
