We've all come to realize this "borrowed power" argument is obsolete, right?
Naruto and Sasuke use the Sage's power
Naruto uses the Bijuu's power
Sasuke uses Itachi's eyes' power
Nagato uses Madara's eyes' power
Madara uses Izuna's eyes' power
Danzō and Itachi uses Shisui's eyes' power
Madara and Obito uses the Juubi's power
Orochimaru and Kabuto uses Edo Tensei'd Shinobis' power
Yamato uses Hashirama's power
Sasori uses the 3rd Kazekage's power
Everyone in the series uses Kaguya's power.
The "borrowed power argument" is dead, isn't it?

Kabuto steals and borrows power left and right, and who gives a damn?

The everyone borrows power from Kaguya argument is stupid, but I agree with everything else.

Borrowed power has always been the last resort of defeated opponent, to be frank.

If Moegi usurped Kaguya, I wonder if people would still complain about the fact it's "borrowed"

Nagato never had a choice, Madara put Rinnegan in his eyes when he was a little kid. Yamato was made to suffer and go through a life threatening dilemma just to gain mokuton. Most top tiers use borrowed power but that is a moot point because you do what you got to do to get stronger.

Since the war, it has become impossible to judge. But prior to, it was a valid argument.

I never accepted that as a valid argument in the first place

It was never an "argument" to begin with. It's like arguing that a person was unfair for using nukes in war, when the other person didn't have nukes.

It's not borrowed because they don't intend to give it back.

Give a 5 year old a big enough handicap, and he or she could beat Tiger Woods in golf. That's the basis of the borrowed power argument. It is valid, whether you think so or not.

Life is kinda like a card game. It's no use complaining about the hand your opponent was dealt. The important thing is to master what cards you have to deal with, that's the only thing that can make you win.
