[PS3] BOPS 2 Problems

Alright so I have decided to play my Black Ops 2 game after a year or so and ive loaded it up, installed the new update and begun playing I got about 3 games in when suddenly after a game my screen remained black just before you go to view your medals etc. I thought this was just a random bug so I closed down my ps3 and turned it back on again, only to play a single game and then have it freeze I kept doing this process over and over when eventually at times it wouldn't even finish a game or load the game at all I deleted the game utility files and reinstalled all of them and it still refuses to work

Anyone shed some light on the situation?

OT - Did you see if the inner part of the disk got damaged or anything? Or maybe your PS3 just overheated. If those aren't the case, use one of the Safe Mode features

Alright apologies for the multi post but oh well

I have tried the safe mode options and none of them work (apart from the one that wipes everything from my ps3 as I am not willing to do that z.z) so are there any other options?
