I hear ya... Vampires that Shine when exposed to sunlight? that was the most ridiculous part of the story. Edward (not so handsome btw) falls for a girl whose blood stinks? lol and Bella, sigh (not so pretty either) falls for a guy who breathes so freaking hard when he talks? (thay can't even get laid or the bloodsucker will want to devour her).

Anyways... Anne Rice was and will always be the greates Vampire Novel writer. Stephanie Meyer can't even reach her toes.

True that. Why is it that the werewolf is so much more handsome than the vampire isnt it meant to be the other way round?

IMO...
"The Book with no Name" - Anon
Although I liked its mystery, it was a bit too graphic for me, and overall...the plot seemed...meaningless. And I didn't like the characters xd.
"Out" - Natsuo Kirino
I wished I never read it to begin with, but then, rereading it a second time, I didn't mind. Again, I felt it was overly graphic, and there was a feeling of hopelessness and bleakness throughout the story.
"The Reluctant Fundamentalist" - Mohsin Hamid
It wasn't bad, the way it was written was intriguing. It was just plain depressing.
I think there's more books, I'll post more when I remember.

I was going to say Twilight but now that I think of it again, the books are atleast better than the movies. But, I don't really regret having read the books but I do regret watching the movies.
So I really can't remember any book that I completely regret reading even if Twilight is not what I'd call a good book but it's not an utter disaster for me unlike the movies.

The book I had the hardest time reading was Julius Caesar (William Shakespear) though. It's a great book but it's language is so hard. I doubt think I'll ever read it again.

The Casuarina Tree by W. Somerset Maugham.

Of Human bondage made sure I didn't pick another work from him since then. His characters irritate me and stories make me depressed for a month at least.

It was the easiest of his books I read. >.> Especially since the book was in my school course and it had a translation in modern english along with it side by side. :p

Same with Romeo and Juliet. I love both of them (Caesar was easier to read and 100x better in my opinion), but they were kind of hard to read.

However, I'm glad I read them. Both are awesome.

I regret some random book assignments I did in Middle school, I guess.
