Chapter 7: Revealed

Recap: Kumogakure staged an advance towards the Land of Fire through the Land's of Forests and Hot Springs. As a result Konoha went in an uproar about possible invasion. After getting the necessary forces to the boarder to protect themselves, Konoha prepared for battle. Soon after, however the troops of Kumo retreated, with Anbu scouts from Konoha revealing that their advance was a training drill for Kumo. Konoha was sent to retreat thinking nothing was wrong. In the debt of night however Kumogakure ships arrived at the shores of the Land of Fire, and the Anbu scouts of the area were taken out. The ground advancement was a disguise for Kumo to move about the seas undetected and for their most deadly unit, the Kinkaku Force to move through the cracks on land without worry. In the night Hiraku Hyuuga was kidnapped and his parents and all Hyuuga within the main house branch were taken out with the exception of Hina Hyuuga. Tsubaki picked up the intrusion of enemy shinobi through their chakra concealing jutsu and quick action was taken by the shinobi of Konoha. Now Setsuna, Tsubaki, Kagami, and Shisui stand in the presence of the Kinkaku Force, and against two of Kumogakure's most deadly shinobi, the Kin Gin Brothers.

Shisui's arms are glowing with red chakra and his turn into that of the Kyuubi.

Ginkaku “Yo who would've thought we'd get to fight the kid who actually holds the full Kyuubi”

Kinkaku “This must be our lucky day”

Kumo-nin “*Damn this kid has the Kyuubi too. Just when I thought Kinkaku and Ginkaku-sama were masters of its chakra...this kid looks like he has a pretty good handle on it, if we don't do something soon we're all going to die*”

Shisui “You're mission...it was to steel the Byakugan wasn't it?”

Kinkaku “It's not rocket science kid. Why else would we kidnap a member of the main household who doesn't bare the curse sealing on them?”

Shisui “Then why did you have to kill everybody else?”

Ginkaku “Again not that difficult. We obviously want the Byakugan but what use will it be if there's still those who could use it to it's full potential. If we killed all the members of the main house and kept the eyes of one of those members, we could surpass the very clan we stole it from”

Setsuna “It's a precaution to make sure that evolve the dojutsu without anybody else doing so before hand”

Kinkaku “The Byakugan is one of the three Great Dojutsu. The ability to see into a person's chakra network and strike them in their most vital points. The ability to use a taijutsu fighting style that has the ability to kill in one shot, allowing you to take control of your opponent by striking in specific areas and having a near 360 degree vision that can scout out for miles...who wouldn't want that?”

Kagami “*Is the Byakugan stronger then the Sharingan?...no it can't be...but why pick it over the Uchihas dojutsu*”

Shisui “You'll never get the chance to have them. I'm going to protect Hiraku”

Ginkaku “Hey kid if you haven't noticed you're kind of out numbered, oh and even with your unique chakra. You don't really expect us less then you because we only have a partial amount do you?”

Kinkaku “Come on kid get real we've had way more experience taming our chakra then you do you expect~”

Shisui stuck out in a split second striking Kinkaku however he managed to block the attack. Kinkaku slides back a little from the impact, however the attack was rather ineffective. By this time Kinkaku had a cloak of bubbling red chakra around him with one tail around it. His eyes had gotten just like Shisui's and his teeth and nails had gotten sharper. All of this in an instant before Shisui struck him. Shisui looked slightly shocked at the appearance of Kinkaku but in a second his faces intensified realizing that Ginkaku was over him about to land a kick onto his head. Both brothers had such a fast speed that Shisui wasn't able to evade Gin's attack. Shisui cross blocks Ginkaku's leg and grabs onto it. He whips the shinobi down onto the ground, with such force that it created a crater and the backlash wind was felt by the other parties. Ginkaku looked unaffected by the slam and simply smiled at Shisui. He grabbed his arms as Shisui reacted with shock. He looks behind him and Kinkaku right on top of him and punched Shisui with great force in his ribs, shattering them upon impact. Shisui went flying through a tree, which collapsed over him. Setsuna and the others looked surprised at the amazing strength and speed demonstrated by the two shinobi. Shisui manages to get the tree off of him and he heads back to the two shinobi. Shisui demonstrates amazing speed and power as he attacks, defends, and counters as he fights the two shinobi. Shisui launches a punch and Ginkaku ducks and punches him in the stomach with great force. Shisui's body disappears, revealing the use of a shadow clone. Both brothers get a look of shock on their faces as they turn towards the tree where they and launched Shisui into. The second they do Kinkaku Shisui emerges from underneath them and undercuts Kinkaku in the stomach. He sweeps Ginkaku and before he reaches the ground he grabs the smaller Ginkaku and throws him against his brother sending the two flying back deep into the woods. Shisui leaps to follow them, leaving the Kinkaku Force and the three other shinobi alone.

Kumo-nin “Now's our chance lets get the kid and get out of here”

Kumo-nin 2 “What about Kinkaku and Ginkaku-sama?”

Kumo-nin “They are more then capable of handling themselves, we have to finish the mission!”

Suddenly the world begin turn dark red and both shinobi are impaled by three large stakes. They cough up blood and the pain they feel is unbearable.

Kumo-nin “Genjutsu...”

Setsuna “Magen: Kasegui no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique)

Suddenly one other Kumo shinobi gets to the back of his two comrades and disrupts their chakra and releases them from the jutsu. They drop to a knee after the horrible sensation but they recover quickly. From behind the three shinobi Kagami appears with his kunai ready to strike. The shinobi turns around quickly and grabs Kagami stopping his attack, and trapping him. The two shinobi take out the swords on their backs and turn around in sync, getting ready to strike Kagami with a double slash combination. As the blades hit Kagami his body turns into flames.

As the fire releases the shinobi are forced back and as they two shuriken emerge from the fire towards them. All three shinobi defend with their blades effectively. Kagami, hidden up in a tree looks down discouraged as his plan didn't work.

Kagami “*Damn they're strong*”

Kagami's eyes widen suddenly out of shock. He leaps from the tree as he as another shinobi appears behind him and attempted to cut him. Four other shinobi leap in the air surrounding Kagami and his look intensifies and turns into serious worry. The shinobi make quick seals and between the four of them a barrier surrounds Kagami. As they land the shinobi make two more seals and lightning begins to fill the barrier and electrocutes Kagami. Kagami begins yelling out in pain as the jutsu continues without stop, coursing his body with electricity until he dies....Setsuna and Tsubaki stand back to back, with their own share of problems, being surrounded by multiple shinobi. Tsubaki looks and sees Kagami and she gets extremely worried. As Tsubaki looks at Kagami being electrocuted to death Setsuna sees a few other shinobi taking Hiraku and heading towards the shores.

Tsubaki “Setsuna we have to help Kagami!”

Setsuna “*Shit, Shisui's all alone with the most dangerous and powerful shinobi in Kumo, Kagami's about to die and the two of us aren't having any fun either...there's no way the four of us can take down...*”

At that moment multiple kunai and thrown at the shinobi leaving with Hiraku and they're laced with explosive tags and they explode when they hit the ground. At that moment multiple Konoha shinobi begin pouring in to even the score. Two shinobi step in and engage the four fighting Kagami, forcing them to release the jutsu. Kagami falls out of the barrier unconscious. Approximately 30 Konoha join the ranks and aid the three shinobi. As the blades clash and and the Kumo shinobi realize they're out numbered the call for plan B.

Kumo-nin “(Touches his ear) We need reinforcements”

Back at the shores of the Land of Fire the shinobi in charge of the naval fleet get the signal for help on the radio and several shinobi begin heading out to assist their comrades.

Kumo Captain “Alright you heard the transmission everybody lets go”

As the shinobi begin running into the forest the moment they pass by a tree multiple shuriken and kunai rain down on them. The quicker of the shinobi manage to deflect them off their katana but several shinobi are hit. Some of the shinobi leap up and evade shuriken in the air but mid way in the air the see paper bombs ignite and they're unable to avoid them and the bombs explode in their faces.

Kumo Captain “What?!

Kumo-nin 3 “It's a trap!”

Miyagi “I never imagined that Kumo would believe we were stupid enough not to see through your little plan”

Above in the trees in front of him the captain looks up and Miyagi stands on a branch in front of dozens of other Konoha shinobi.

Kumo Captain “They saw through our Sea front”

Miyagi “You may not know this but our Hokage isn't an idiot”

**Flashback**

Miyagi “Tobirama-sama I don't have a good feeling about~”

Tobirama “You and I both Miyagi that's why I want you to head to the shores of the country. Take a unit of no less then 300 but be discrete, cover yourself”

Miyagi “Tobirama-sama?~”

Tobirama “I've been fighting in wars since I was a small child Miyagi. My father and my brother were both tactical geniuses, it's only suiting that I follow in their foot steps”

Miyagi “But why the shores sir?”

Tobirama “I've seen this tactic used before. When I was 14 fighting on the side of the Land of Fire in a war against the Land of Water. They did the same tactic. At the time they had territory in the Land of Hot Springs and they launched a decoy advance on land to use as a smoke screen while their ships invaded from the sea and docked unnoticed. When they retreated on land we were relieved and we let our guard down, that's when they attacked our rear. At the time me and Hashirama-Nii were fighting against Kiyoshi Yuki”

Miyagi “You fought against Shodaime Mizukage?!”

Tobirama “At the time he was around my age but he was strong enough to fight against my water techniques and Hashirama's wood techniques. Although we were less skilled then back then we were the heirs to our clan...anyway I've seen this tactic before. I don't know the reason for Kumo's attack but I don't really care at this point. I'm concerned with protecting Konoha. Follow my orders and head to the shores and when they decide to attack you lead the troops accordingly. Once everything has ended we'll figure out what their motives were and deal with it accordingly”

Miyagi “Yes Nidaime-sama”

**End Flashback**

Miyagi “You guys aren't getting past this point”

Miyagi and the other shinobi leap into combat against the Kumo shinobi and battle ensues.

Kumo-nin “*Where the hell are reinforcements?* (touches ear) Sea Brigade do you copy?! Where are reinforcements”

The shinobi gets static at first but then transmission comes in, however it's disrupted.

Kumo Captain “Konoha saw through our smoke screen, they planted hundreds of shinobi in the forest ready for us. They ambushed our ambush”

Kumo-nin “Damn this isn't good at all”

The shinobi looks around and see's his men getting out matched by the shinobi. Already 5 Kumo shinobi have been killed, five of Kumogakure's Kinkaku Force, the most elite force of shinobi. At this point in time the shinobi realized that his men were not going to win this fight and their mission was a failure. All of a sudden the earth and ground begins to shake and a huge explosion can be heard in the distance. Both battle fronts (the Kinkaku force and the Sea Brigade) hear the explosion and the Kumo shinobi and Tsubaki and Setsuna realize that it's Shisui and the Kin Gin brothers...At the battle between the two shinobi all three shinobi are panting rather heavily however the two brothers are smiling.

Ginkaku “Yo Kinkaku this kid's pretty good. I aint never seen nobody throw down such power and speed before”

Kinkaku “Yeah you're right, this is a pretty excellent fight”

Kumo-nin “(static)...Kin...kaku...Kinkaku-sama we're out numbered...and the sea Brigade...have been ambushed by Konoha...we have to retreat”

Kinkaku “What?! Come on you bunch of pussies you can't do shit without us can you. We're not retreating”

Ginkaku “Bro I don't think we can hold back anymore we gotta take care of this kid now”

Kinkaku “Yeah the babies are calling us now, we better end this”

Shisui reacts surprised and his face turns into a look of shear terror. All of a sudden the cloaks of bubbling chakra around both brothers quickly turns into a dark red shroud, giving them the appearance of humanoid Kyuubi. Both shinobi get a total of four tails around them. Kinkaku's build is larger then his brothers however both look extremely menacing. Shisui squints his eyes intensively and increases the chakra in his arms. Suddenly at his hands the chakra gets slightly bigger and it takes the form of a claw.

Note: Chakuraken: Kitsune Tsume (Chakra fist: Fox Claw). Chakra fist, derived from chakra enhanced strength fighting style. Developed by Shisui creates devastating power while also using shape manipulation to alter the form of the chakra. Shisui's utilization of his Kyuubi chakra is essentially level two of this fighting style.

Shisui leaps forward with his large chakra claws and attempts to attack Kinkaku. With instantaneous speed Ginkaku gets behind him and bashes him into the ground with one fluent swift movement. The crater created is extremely large and Shisui hesitates, getting up. His body shakes from the impact but he manages to get up. Shisui makes 4 shadow clones and has them use the Kitsune Tsume. He adds chakra to his legs and feet to allow him to move even faster but, the duration of the battle, extensive use of the Kyuubi's chakra and now the use of shadow clones and even more chakra drainage exhausts him to great lengths. Shisui and his four clones head directly for the two brothers but the speed and power demonstrated by these two have phenomenally increased thanks to the Kyuubi's chakra. The four clones are taken out almost instantly but Shisui manages to get to Ginkaku and use his Kitsune Tsume technique. He slashes the brother on the back and all of a sudden Shisui gets a pulse like sensation. Kinkaku gets up close to Shisui, rushing him with amazing speed.

Kinkaku “(altered voice) Lariat!”

Kinkaku rushes Shisui with his arm and sends him flying back. Ginkaku's chakra shroud disappeared and he was semi-conscious with three huge slash marks on his back from Shisui's attack.

Ginkaku “Yo...bro...what just happened”

Kinkaku lets our a powerful roar of anger. Shisui his panting heavily with such a big wound on his neck and chest (think of Sasuke after Killer Bee used the technique on him). Shisui was immobile but all of a sudden bubbling chakra began surrounding him as well. He grew three tails in a quick time and his wound began dissolving like acid and healing itself. Shisui's teeth and nails became sharper like Kinkaku and Ginkaku's once they activated the cloak, and a dark black rings surrounded his mouth. Kinkaku let out another roar and went for Shisui. Suddenly underneath Kinkaku, in a lightning fast reaction, Miyagi appeared.

Miyagi “Gogyo Fuin! (Five Elements Seal)”

On the tips of Miyagi's fingers, on his right hand purple, flame like chakra appears and he plunges it directly into Kinkaku's stomach. Kinkaku stops immediately and Miyagi backs up. Kinkaku's chakra begins fading and he looses his chakra shroud. The seal disrupted his chakra and prevented him from using the Kyuubi chakra.

Miyagi “*It worked...Pseudo Jinchuuriki aren't the same as normal. I'm just glad the chakra he possessed was less so my jutsu was strong enough to repress it*”

Kinkaku “Damn, how the hell?!...”

Miyagi “*Even without his Kyuubi chakra this shinobi is still dangerous. I have to end this quick and~*”

Miyagi notices Shisui getting and he notices the chakra cloak around him. Shisui's movement was sort of like stumbling. He walks past Miyagi and looks up at Kinkaku. Suddenly the fourth tail begins to form on him and he lashes out at Kinkaku. The shinobi blocks the attack but is sent flying from the shear power. He looks up angrily at Shisui and takes a step. He then notices his brother on the ground bleeding out rapidly and he feels his chakra weakened from the seal. He gets another transmission from the other shinobi and he realizes that he has to give up. Kinkaku makes a quick movement and grabs his brother and disappears in a cloud of smoke. A moment later thunder erupts in the sky, which is the signal to retreat for the Kumo shinobi. Miyagi sighs a sigh of relief and begins walking towards Shisui. However Shisui's chakra doesn't cease to increase and the shroud that once surrounded Ginkaku surrounded him and he let out a roar. Miyagi's expression was surprised and he begins to remember something that Mito told him.

**Flashback**

Miyagi “What's this?”

Mito “It's a sealing card. I made just in case...”

Miyagi “In case what?”

Mito “I doubt you'll have to use it but...Hina-nee wasn't the strongest when it came to taming the Kyuubi's chakra. She went berserk one time when our village leader provoked it's chakra and it was only at two tails?”

Miyagi “Two tails?”

Mito “What Shisui is using is only the smallest reminiscence of the Kyuubi's chakra, the chakra that occasionally leaks out of his seal...however should he actually tap into the Kyuubi's chakra within his seal, which is at a much greater concentration, he'll develop a cloak of what appears to be bubbling red chakra...that's what happens from 1 to 3 tails. Hina lost it at two, but that's not the worst...when he enters the Kyuubi shroud, when he actually begins to take the appearance of the Kyuubi and his chakra completely covers his body to the point he's a mirror image of the Kyuubi's chakra, that's when you have to worry...I saw Hina-nee go four tails once and she nearly killed a 100 shinobi. Although they were the enemy...I never saw such power and felt such cold anger. If Shisui ever begins showing the cloak or the shroud place this seal on him and it will repress the chakra”

Miyagi “Alright...”

Mito “Miyagi...this is serious...Even if it's just at one tail place this on him before the shroud appears. If it does I don't think that you'll be able to get close enough to him to use it”

**End Flashback**

Miyagi “*Damn!*”

Miyagi takes out the seal and instantly Shisui lunges at him. Miyagi was forced to use his Kobura Tsume to act as a defensive technique do evade Shisui's attack. He had to use all his speed to do so but he manages to get away from Shisui and to the back he places the seal on the back of his head. Shisui lets out a roar and back fists Miyagi sending him through a tree, however in a short moment the seal takes affect and represses Shisui's chakra and he collapses unconscious. Miyagi is panting heavily from the chakra used to evade Shisui's attack and from Shisui's back fist. Miyagi then gets a transmission from the Konoha shinobi and they report a full retreat on the sea brigade. Miyagi gets up and walks over to Shisui and puts him on his back. As he makes it to the scene of the battle with the Kinkaku force all but the Konoha shinobi had left. Nobody on Konoha's side died however there were over 10 injured including Kagami. The medics assist him and when Miyagi gets there with Shisui they take a look at his wound that had practically been healed by the Kyuubi's chakra, however was still critical. The fatality of the wound was gone but the seriousness was still there. Konoha had won their battle and had protected Hiraku from being captured. As the sun begins to rise above Konoha Miyagi looks up exhausted and he sighs.

Miyagi “Is anybody else hungry?! I feel like we worked up a hell of an apatite here (smiles)”

The shinobi looked at Miyagi slightly confused but they eventually break out into laughter at his statement. Although this incident was far from being resolved, from what it seemed like everybody deserved a laugh...

Mid Morning

The citizens of Konoha have no idea of the events that went on only a few hours ago. All the injured shinobi in the battle have been brought to the hospital however there were no deaths, and the severest of the injuries were Shisui's and Kagami's. They've been put in the critical unit, however their lives are in no danger. Mito was dispatched immediately after Shisui's incident to patch up the seal on his stomach however amazingly Shisui's seal wasn't even damaged from the incident. Miyagi, Tobirama, and Mito discuss the situation that happened.

Tobirama “I should have been out there. I overestimated Shisui's abilities. The Kin Gin brothers are vastly superior shinobi. Had they not held back against Shisui in the beginning he would've been killed and perhaps our other comrades...we were real lucky this time”

Mito “Tobirama-sama. When I went to check on Shisui's seal it was completely normal, it didn't get weaker or even loosen up, but from what Miyagi-san described he went four tails and the chakra shroud appeared.”

Miyagi “That's correct”

Tobirama “How is that, he was provoked wasn't he?”

Mito “I don't know but the seal should have at least spiraled half a cycle”

Miyagi “I got there just as Shisui struck one of the shinobi. He used his Chakuraken style to attack one of them. Ginkaku I believe it was. It completely stripped him of his shroud of Kyuubi chakra and he had a huge gaping scar on his back from Shisui's attack”

Tobirama “Maybe I didn't overestimate Shisui, he took one of them down without a cloak~”

Mito “Wait you didn't tell me that before”

Miyagi “Was it important?”

Mito “When Shisui attacked with his technique, was he using his chakra or the Kyuubi's”

Miyagi “He was using his Kyuubi chakra. He'd have to to go up against them. Even though he has a load of normal chakra, the two brothers are physically built over him. They're naturally stronger meaning they could probably take Shisui's less dense normal chakra”

Mito “Then I know why the seal wasn't touched”

Tobirama “How?”

Mito “The chakra that shrouded Shisui wasn't his own, he absorbed it from Ginkaku and it transferred to him”

Miyagi “What do you mean?”

Mito “Kinkaku and Ginkaku are Pseudo Jinchuuriki, meaning they don't actually possess the beast but portions of it's chakra. Even this makes gives them crazy chakra. However when since the chakra they possess isn't there's but the Kyuubi's when the chakras clashed the Kyuubi took back it's chakra”

Miyagi “I don't get it are you saying it was absorbed by the Kyuubi?”

Mito “That's exactly what I'm saying. Shisui was using the Kyuubi's chakra as well and when his chakra touched Ginkaku's the chakra went into Shisui. The Kyuubi recognized it's own chakra when they clashed and the forces were the same. He drained it out of Ginkaku immediately and that's why the shroud didn't protect him against Shisui's attack”

Tobirama “Wouldn't the chakra have went into the seal instead of cloaking itself around Shisui?”

Mito “Sealing Jutsu like the Four Symbols works as a barrier. It keeps the beast in and keeps outside forces out. Meaning that nothing is going to enter the seal to disrupt the Kyuubi itself and nothing is going come out, although this is the general understanding. Small amounts and leak in and out, other sealing techniques placed on top of the seal causes a disruption from access of the user but doesn't actually harm the beast inside. The amount of chakra drained from Ginkaku, despite being the chakra of the actual beast, it was too great for it to enter a blocked seal and as a result, since the chakra was already transferred from Ginkaku to Shisui there was no choice but for it to surround Shisui.”

Tobirama “I get it now...when the same power is activated from the inside that is due to a weakening of the seal. The seal is stronger at keeping forces out then it is in actually keeping forces in”

Miyagi “Why is that?”

Mito “The reason why the Uzumaki style sealing is so strong is that it can't be released on the outside without a key. Other sealing style typically have their own key but there are other methods of breaking the seal from the outside which would be commonly used by enemies to release the seal on the Bijuu and release it from the Jinchuuriki and seal it into another member of their own village. Our technique's defense is at the highest possible level, to where, basically nothing can actually enter the seal except the key to unlocking it. We also excel in our control on the inside, but when dealing with a Bijuu, it's always subject to breaking from the inside, any seal that is. However that is the only risk with our sealing, risk of the Bijuu breaking free from the inside, while practically all others have the same risk, plus the risk of another skilled fuinjutsu user releasing it from the outside without the need for a key.”

Miyagi “I see...I that makes good sense...so with Shisui...the outside chakra couldn't enter the seal and join the Kyuubi and so caused him to transfer the shroud of Ginkaku onto himself?”

Mito “Precisely. Chakra from the outside can't enter the seal in large portions. However the little it can isn't nearly strong enough meaning that a user could attempt to break the seal from the outside but the massive chakra needed to do that, the seal will only allow a small amount, if that, which isn't enough for it to break”

Tobirama “So...other then his sustained injuries from the two brothers he's fine”

Mito “Yes”

Miyagi “That's the first piece of good new since this whole incident started...so Nidaime-sama...what are we going to do now?”

Tobirama “Find out why Shodaime Raikage ordered this, and from there...I don't really know yet”

Mito “Are we talking about war?”

Tobirama “I hope not...but I can't honestly tell at this point...you two are dismissed for now, and Miyagi you rest up and let those injuries heal”

The two shinobi bow their heads and leave the Hokage. A short period after that Tobirama heads down to to the hidden, Anbu headquarters within the village. Upon entering two masked shinobi dropped down, kneeling in front of him.

Tobirama “What do you have to report?”

Anbu Captain “Sir the scouting and espionage division I sent has yet too return, but there is not sign of the enemy on any of our boarders and the security has been increased.”

Anbu General “We've began the preparations of turning the Anbu into an Ambush and intelligence division, should war break out”

Tobirama “Very well, continue with the preparations but don't initiate anything yet. I'm going to try and see if there is another solution that doesn't call for war”

Anbu General “What about the rest of the council?”

Tobirama “I've only called attention to the council in choosing my representatives, to speak with the Fire Daimyou. In cases like this we cannot decide war for ourselves. If we bring war into the Land of Fire we must discuss it with our Daimyou”

Anbu Captain “Sir, if you don't mind me asking...who've you chosen to accompany you?”

Tobirama “The Fire Daimyou knows all about the happenings of yesterday, our scramble of the troops to the boarder, the sea attack from Kumo and their attempt to kidnap Hiraku Hyuuga. He wants to meet tomorrow...He wants me to bring four...I've chosen, Kiyoshi Yaminaka, Kazuya Sarutobi, Mito Uzumaki, and Tenzou”

Anbu General “Sir if I may ask, where is Tenzou at this moment?”

Tobirama “He's checking on our Danzo problem...I might ask you the same as to what you've done about Love?”

Anbu Captain “He keep eluding us, his actions are just like Danzo's, to a minimum and we haven't been able to keep such a close watch on him, last time we did he completely vanished from our sights. We can't get too close or he'll disappear again”

Tobirama “He's more crafty then Danzo...I can't help but worry that they're working together”

Anbu General “It's too unclear, even for us I'm afraid”

Tobirama “Keep doing what you're doing but you have to be more cautious now. Right now we're in a state of emergency, the perfect time for them to execute whatever plans they may have”

Both “Yes Nidaime-sama”

Tobirama leaves the confines of the Anbu base and heads back to into the village.

Late Night

It's almost midnight in Konoha. Danzo sits in secluded room within his Root headquarters. He sits, drinking tea before he opens his eyes.

Danzo “Don't play with me, show yourself”

A few seconds later a hand opens the door in Danzo's room and the shinobi Tenzou enters the room with his robe and mask on.

Danzo “It took me a while to figure out it was you but I get it...you were in control from the beginning even during that time in the council...Love”

Love suddenly walks in behind Tenzou and smiles mockingly at Danzo.

Love “If you hadn't found out about my abilities you still wouldn't have known. You wouldn't have known, and you wouldn't have been able to slip away so easily”

Danzo “So Tobirama's pet is actually yours huh?”

Love “You seem calmer now then our last encounter Danzo”

Danzo “Regardless I'm still upset with you for what you did”

Love “(sarcastically) I apologize and beg for forgiveness Danzo-sama”

Danzo “So all this time when you said that you had withdrew yourself from the council...”

Love “You and I are similar in many ways but there are many things in which we are opposites, including our approach to things.”

Danzo “I have to hand it to you...for you too have taken control Tobirama's lap dog...and to get the information you did from him without him suspecting a thing...I'm impressed”

Love “There's no need for that, I'm just better then you at this point”

Danzo “Yes...at this point, but how long do you intend keep this up”

Love “Until the smoke from my smokescreen dies down...Tobirama is a powerful shinobi but I'm smart enough to keep the blindes over his eyes”

Danzo “Maybe...he's chosen Tenzou to accompany him to the Fire Daimyou tomorrow”

Love “I know that...like you I was there as well”

Danzo “Is he you're only clinch?”

Love “That's none of your concern Danzo. I just came here to reveal myself to you but apparently you already knew. I also came here because of your mission in Kusagakure”

Danzo “Wasn't it you who said not to interfere in each other's affairs?”

Love “No interference, advice. Kusagakure and the Land of Grass is a powerful village. Even for a lesser nation. It's might can be compared to that of Uzushio. Also...they specialize in espionage based skills so attempting to be sneaky with a spy is going to prove difficult for you”

Danzo “I know that already”

Love has Tenzou bow and the two leave Danzo's presence. Love walks out of Danzo's foundation with Tenzou leading the way. Suddenly Love activates his Sharingan and looks upwards towards a tree in front of him. Tenzou goes leaping into the tree but there's nothing. Love recalls Tenzou and they begin walking again. Love closes his eyes and holds his head from the pain. Love overuses his Sharingan. As the two shinobi fade a white mask appears in the shadow of a tree.

Anbu “Got it”

A shinobi emerges and takes out a scroll. Immediately he takes out a pen and begins writing down a message on the scroll fast and then he takes out another scroll and marks his location on a map and he disappears...The next morning as Tobirama and Mito prepare for departure in his office. Kiyoshi and Kazuya enter all ready as well. Tobirama calls Tenzou and he drops down immediately.

Tenzou “All set Nidaime-sama?”

Tobirama “Not quite Tenzou...stand up”

The shinobi follows his orders and Tobirama walks up to him and places his hand on his shoulder.

Tobirama “I'm actually only going to be taking these three on this expedition today I want you to stay here”

Tenzou “Are you sure Nidaime~”

Tobirama stabs Tenzou through the heart with a kunai and he drops to a knee.

Tobirama “If you can hear me Love, I'd suggest you run because from this point on you're an enemy of Konoha. If I ever see you again you will die”

In another location Love's look of utter shock and surprise hits his face in a way never seen before.

Tobirama “You're first mistake...three years ago mentioning my research...only a select few knew about that, Tenzou being included...as of this point all those who knew about it are dead with the exception of you... your precieved hold on me is gone. You have tried to use me and you've gotten nothing, but I used you and got everything I needed. You better get out of here before you're found”

Love “He...knew!”

Love clinches his fist and gets a look of overwhelming anger on his face. Love has always been the manipulative party in his endeavors. Everyone of his actions have been like a master chess player, plotting 5 moves in advance of his opponent. Love has always gotten his way but just like with Danzo, he was out played and put in check by Tobirama. The shoe is on the other foot for Love now and just how Danzo felt so does he. Tenzou falls on the floor dead and Mito, Kazuya, and Kiyoshi walk past the body following Tobirama out the door, heading to the Fire Daimyou. As they do Love leaves the confines of the village with a tense and angered body. However Tobirama has put Love in check...he's still far from declaring “Mate”...
