Yea it would be very very boring. He is still fast, but he simply cannot spam the fast movement because it just isn't him.

I actually agree with this. You might want to include the scan of Minato failing to stop black Zetsu despite the fact that he was 5 feet from him.

Thanks! And yea there are plenty of scans i can show of minato not using Shunshin when he should have if he could have. The Zetsu part is one of the times that proves it isnt a "when ever I like" move.

Considering he has amazing reflexes and FTG doesn't meant that you have to move he could still afford it, maybe Tobirama to.
Any other shinobi without this would most likely fail miserably.
EDIT:Even though Minato could've used Body Flicker he never uses it.
Sadly only time we have heard of him use it was when they were rushing to the battlefield.

Correction....Minato has the fox so yes, yes he does, on top of his own speed which is near instant itself.
Don't compare the fastest ninja in the series to ninja who need higher chakra reserves to attempt his shunshin. Minato isn't even a big time chakra holder but his shunshin > Raikage's.

Minato's FTG is also called shunshin. Which is what Minato used to get to the battle field because there's no logical way unless he can fly. The kunai was threw at an angel, maybe he warped to the tentacal on Bee, but still after that its obvious he Shunshin there.

Thats Edo Minato, and even then it isnt like the Raikages. Remember, Naruto also has the same Fox/mode yet cannot spam like the Raikages. Minatos FTG is called "Hiraishin no Jutsu" btw. And whether he shunshin or not really doesn't matter since they was already going there at high speeds to the battle field to make it in time.

People underestimate what it means to be a taijutsu specialist such as Gai/Lee and the degree of their training which set them apart from the average shinobi. The same goes for goes for the Raikage

After he went "V2" is when Cee/Shee made that comment. He powered his chakra to bijuu levels to do a version of Shunshin that allowed him to do what he did to amateratsu. MinatoTobirama/Itachi/Kakashi do not have that level of chakra nor that ability to use it like he did thanks to his armor.

For ninjas like minato them they still have to first Execute the chakra before using Body flicker, as oppose to the Raiakges who already have the chakra non stop Active to be used/spammed (aye pumped more chakra into it to move faster; V2). Any other ninja still have to initiate the jutsu first then use it. Which is why they (Minato, tobirama, hashirama, kakashi, sasuke, itachi, naruto, gaara, lee, guy etc etc) get hit and don't use the body flicker.

Raikage may have felt the need to go up to Bijuu level chakra to pull that of, doesn't mean it's the case for Minato as well. We already know that dependant on your chakra control, A can use a technique B uses with far less chakra than him if he has better chakra control.

That simply means that someone like Minato who has one of the best chakra control in this manga probably uses far less chakra than Raikage to pull of a similar technique. His base speed was already compared to that of Raikage in lightning armor by Cee

Reflexes doesnt grant you the ability to spam it. You still need to knead the chakra in your foot/body and have the body /stamina to not affect you in the long run. Plus moving that fast with elite reflexes does not make you safe from counter attacks by trying to ftg away. A ninja like Kidomaru could just simply poke bones out and have you accidentally run into it and hurt your self etc etc.
And yea there are too many times he should have used it but didnt..

Not trying to make excuses but obviously that was purely for plot, kakashi could have kamui'd him and yet he did not. Kishi still has plans for zetsu so his plot armour was very thick at that moment.

You still don't get the fact that a ninja Like minato still has to initiate chakra to use the ninjutsu as oppose to the Raikages who already have the chakra kneaded to be used instantly! Basically he cannot spam it even if he tried. The chakra, stamina and risk simply arent worth it. Using it when you can is one thing, but spamming it is another.

The Shee comment was saying LBF was about equal to Minato, but didnt mention "V2" which was not mentioned to be equal. Just because minato has great chakra control doesn't mean he has enough chakra to use it teh Way Aye used it to dodge. If that were the case he wouldnt use FTG to escape from attacks/counter attacks. He has never ever ever used BF to escape from attacks for a reason you know..

Btw, Diedara had no problem Reacting to Sasuke's "Godlike Speed" (according to Kishi). SO if Deidara who isnt a Taijutsu specialist had no problems imagine ninjas who actually focus on CQC would react. Which is about every Joinin-kage level ninja.
