Prove it MFers!!! Gai has NEVER worn weights. Lee was F'ing LIGHTNING FAST fighting Gaara without the weights way back in Part 1 Naruto! He has worn those damn weights now MUCH LONGER since then, and more than likely he has ADDED HEAVIER WEIGHTS since then. He'd be obviously stronger in Shippuden and we all know how hard he trains. I know his BASE SPEED (yes, lee without weights is still considered his "base speed", no chakra/jutsu/gates included) is most likely faster than Gai.


DONT MAKE ME CREATE A NEW THREAD TO PROVE LEE BASE SPEED IS FASTER THAN GAI BASE SPEED

Well, back in the chuunin exams, Lee has a 4 in base speed while Guy had a 5. In the latest databook Lee has a 4.5, but it might have changed up until now.

Yea, after using his sharingan to copy his movements so he could replicate it. Not saying he didnt work for it, but given the same circumstances Lee had, it would have taken Sasuke much longer, probably much longer than Lee to achieve that level of speed.

Amount of work is irrelevant to this topic. The truth is that his speed is easily obtainable by most upper tier ninjas and that's it. He is fast, but certainly far from godlike or something like that.

He obtained that speed through the sharingan, and never really moved that fast ever again. Sasuke is NOT currently as fast as Rock Lee man.

Yup. Gai was only .5 faster, and Lee has still been wearing weights since then. I'm sure if a databook was printed today they would both be a 5 in speed, the highest, which still wouldn't prove who is faster as of the War.

The question isn't is he "Godlike", but simply faster than Naruto and Gai. He would obviously be faster than Naruto if he had a BM cloak, people are argueing if he would be faster than Gai in the same sinerio.




FINAL NOTE: Alot of shinobi are fast, but not BASE SPEED fast. Anyone running against Lee right now would BURN OUT and run out of energy before Lee. He wouldn't have to "increase" his speed from normal, because he NORMALLY wears the weights! His base speed without the weights would be incredibly fast, but more importantly NATURALLY FAST without putting more stress on his body than he normally does!!!

In other words, if he dropped the weights he'd naturally be able to move at super speed, while other shinobi would be seriously stressing their body to move that fast for any duration of time!!!

Dude, NO ONE would be able to "continuously" use body flicker. Rock Lee would continuously be able to run at hyper speed if he took off the weights, that's the point of the weight training.

Other words, even if someone were able to use body flicker they would run out of gas before Lee would, of course. Add the BM chakra from Naruto... And no one holds a candle to Lee. Period.
