Ketsuryūgan or Blood Dragon Eye is a Doujutsu that has comparative power to the Three Great Dojutsu. With an ability to induce Genjutsu in a target via Eye Contact or physical touch, the genjutsu powers of this Doujutsu could even fool the Sharingan. As with its namesake this doujutsu also allowed the user to manipulate any liquid with a high iron concentration meaning they could manipulate thier blood and the blood of others after they physically touched the target.

( Dōjutsu Ketsuryūgan ) - Eye Technique: Blood Dragon Eye
Type: Supplementary

Description: The Ketsuryūgan (血龍眼, Literally meaning: Blood Dragon Eye) is a dōjutsu, which appears in certain individuals of the Chinoike clan. The Ketsuryūgan is recognised by its reddish colour, giving a special appearance for the users of this dōjutsu, characterised as holders of eyes as red as blood. A notable ability of the Ketsuryūgan is it's ability to cast genjutsu, either by making physical skin contact with the target or meeting each other's gaze, on a level of comparable strength to the Sharingan as well as be able to follow high-speed movements. One of its main abilities is their ability to manipulate the blood within themselves for Ninjutsu use. Much like any other Dōjutsu, the Ketsuryūgan is able to see the flow of chakra to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Similar to the Byakugan, the user can see chakra through matter and beyond dense matter or in long distances. This ability also allows the wielder to see one's "life force", or their physical energy and sense and see any living object within range.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his doujutsu, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina, he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Jounin Rank or above and has held the Doujutsu for a month, he becomes able to passively activate it.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: While traveling the NW, bios with an activated Ketsuryūgan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away though this does not beyond an ocean landmark.
Note: In order to utilize any of the blood based abilities, the user must be at least Jounin rank.

The main attraction, this Doujutsu almost combines aspects of both the Sharingan and Byakuga
B into a single Eye. With penetrative vision and genjutsu casting ability, the blood manipulation granted by this dojutsu is virtually a bonus. Though the blood manipulation is likely the reason for the name Blood Dragon Eye. No questions regarding this.

Description: Using the Ketsuryūgan's abilities to manipulate a target's blood, with physical contact, the user can expand the blood in the target's body. Doing so, it will cause the body to morph into a much larger version, effectively disfiguring the target to be unidentifiable. This grotesque massive form can also slow a target as well as reduce their ability to physically fight by expanding their blood to slow them significantly, lowering their speed by 10% and preventing access to Taijutsu above B rank as well as taking 5 damage per turn. An opponent can release this technique by using a full body surge of S rank or higher or by causing themselves bleeding damage to themselves to release the excess blood. This will cause no additional damage beyond that done by the opponent.
Note: Additional uses can stack, causing rapid movement loss beyond the normal 40% limit. The user can stack up to 3 uses, causing a max reduction of 30% speed, -15 health per turn and inability to use Taijutsu above D rank while in this bloated state.
Note: Can only be used once every turn with effects lasting up to 4 turns.

A debuffing technique usable with physical contact, repeated uses increases the debuff placed on the opponent and can only be mitigated by the use if an S rank technique or the opponent using a technique to harm themselves and release the excess blood.

So as far as combining this technique with a chakraless taijutsu for example, do you believe it possible to use a taijutsu that hits the opponent multiple times to increase the effect of the Blood Transformation technique to the next stage?

No it can't, due to the note stating that it can only be used once per turn, so stacking in the same turn would not be possible with this technique alone. Maybe through customs.

( Bakuhatsu Ningen no Jutsu ) - Exploding Human Technique
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S

Description: When a Ketsuryūgan wielder makes direct skin contact with a target, they can infuse some of their chakra into the target. This chakra becomes poisonous to the target, making their bodies unstable, dealing slow but constant damage over turn. Causing the victim's body to become consumed in a pitch-black substance, the opponent will suffer 20 damage every turn. After 3 turns have passed, they will begin inflating in a grotesque manner and appearing in a swollen, black and sickly manner. After 6 turns have gone by or when the target's health reaches lower than 10% of their max, the target will seemingly finally explode on a very destructive scale, causing S rank damage to those within short range and leaving the target unable to continue until healed. This explosion douses poisonous blood and chakra onto targets within short range, spreading the bloody infection to them and continuing the process. Only by rendering the target unconscious such as with Genjutsu or defeating the user will the explosion be prevented.
Note: Requires direct contact to utilize. Can only be used after the Ketsuryūgan has been activated. Can only be used on a single opponent twice and up to 3 times in total. After use, the user cannot use it for at least 4 turns.
Note: Exploding Human requires Yang release to fully heal and remove the virus. Med, while capable of preventing the explosion, will not prevent the health loss completely and will only half the health loss per turn.

Description: After suffering a wound or inflicting one to expose blood, the user manipulates their exposed blood and shapes it into waves, tendrils, small rivers and more liquid forms as he attacks his opponent with this blood. Unique to Ketsuryūgan users, the user is capable of spreading poisons and physical ailments to others targeted via this jutsu. This allows him the ability to spread poisons afflicting him or other biological viruses or illnesses to be transferred via his blood. Should the user be sickened, he is capable of using this jutsu to spread the illness that stays active for one turn after it’s initial use ( meaning should the user create a Blood snake from his body using this jutsu, the affliction will only stay active for one turn before becoming non harmful ). S ranked usages can only occur once every 3 turns and up to 3 times in total.

A technique that works well with direct skin contact such as with the use taijutsu or free form, once direct skin contact is established you can cause the opponent to undergo a drastic grotesque transformation that sees them swell into a large black mass that explodes and can cause a domino effect for others who are caught within the explosion radius. A good side note about this is that it is only fully healable with the use of Yang Release, and although Medical Jutsu may be able to stop the explosive component, it only reduces the damage per turn by half. So it can still be pretty useful in not only pressuring susceptible opponents into the defensive as they try to rid themselves of this jutsu effect.

Question though, the last notation on this technique says passive healing is stopped while afflicted. Is it safe to say that as long as this technique isn't counter acted by Yang Release, the opponent would still be considered afflicted and their passive healing abilities negated?

Rivers of Blood is a simple enough technique allowing for the user to manipulate their blood and use it for attacks and or defense depending on the need of the user. I like this technique as it allows you to alos spread any poison or disease inflicting the user to an opponent. Pretty niche technique since it'll revolve around the user being poisoned and could result in some interesting gameplay mechanics.

No current questions related to Rivers of Blood.

( Shitai Tsume ) - Corpse Piler
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S

Description: After forming the necessary handseals, the user manipulates the blood within him and causes it to burst from his body, creating powerful toxic bloody spikes that stick out 4 meters from his body. Because these spikes deal damage to the user in order to erupt from the body, the user takes small damage to his body. Though this causes physical damage, it does not hinder the user at all. Unique about these blood spikes is that should they pierce a target, they carry an anticoagulant that causes them to bleed profusely unless actively healed by Medical or Yang jutsu. This blood loss deals 10 damage per turn until healed and cannot be mitigated.
Note: This jutsu can only be used once every 3 turns and up to 3 times in total.

( Ketsuryū Shōten ) - Blood Dragon Ascension
Type: Offensive

Damage: 120 for Physical/Blood attacks
Description: Blood Dragon Ascension is a technique that involves the ability of manipulating blood, exclusive of the members of the Chinoike Clan. Through this ability, the user forms a massive dragon of blood comparable in size to Complete-Body Susano’o. This massive eight headed dragon is capable of surviving up to 100 damage, regrowing the heads fully if anything less than that much damage impacts the dragon. In addition to the regeneration, the body of the dragon can be used as a source for future Blood jutsu and the heads of the dragon also have the capability to release steam as a projectile, dealing immense damage when used. These 5 meter blasts travel at 35 speed and deal 100 damage each.
Note: Can only be used by Chinoike clan members. Can only be used twice times, each use lasting 6 turns each.
Note: To regenerate a head, the user must expend a move per turn.

Technique that causes blood to burst out from you up to 4 meters, target's who are hit will be forced to bleeding profusely unless they use a technique to heal the damage. The technique is nice because it produces a strong DoT effect that can force the opponent to taking a defensive moment to heal themselves. No question related to Corpse Piler.


Blood Dragon Ascension is the ultimate Ketsuryūgan technique as it is capable of defending against 100 damage techniques and regenerating against techniques that have less than that applied to them. This technique also nice because of the speed of the projectiles the technique is capable of releasing. No additional questions on these.

( Doujutsu: Genjutsu Ketsuryūgan ) - Eye Technique: Dragon Blood Eye Illusion
Type: Supplementary

Description: This broadly refers to a range of genjutsu performed with the Ketsuryūgan. By establishing eye contact with a target or physical contact with their body, the Ketsuryūgan user traps them within a sustained Genjutsu of the user's creation. Ketsuryūgan Genjutsu are stronger than other Genjutsu, being as difficult to break as Sharingan Genjutsu due to the powerful nature of the chakra powering them. When utilized through the Ketsuryūgan, these Genjutsu are enhanced and deal 20 bonus damage while enhancing the Genjutsuson such a level that entities created within seemingly have different chakra signatures and excess chakra is removed from the environment and objects within the illusion. However, much like the generic Sharingan Genjutsu, time dilation effects and similar effects/abilities of Tsukiyomi and custom variants cannot be replicated through these illusions. In the case of Supplementary and none damaging use, these Genjutsu can be exploited for one of various purposes, such as: causing temporary paralysis in the target, forceful extraction of information, relaying memories, or removing Genjutsu placed on the target by others.

Unique to Ketsuryūgan Genjutsu, users are able to construct mental barriers through the use of this technique, enhancing their own defense to other Genjutsu and prevent their effects from targeting the user. Should the user notice they are within a Genjutsu or chooses to employ this early, he is capable of shattering illusions up to it’s rank and even preventing them as his mental barriers increase. This functions similarly to a body surge that flushes chakra from their system; instead, this barrier forces Genjutsus from their mind and prevents others from piercing through them. This can prevent up to A ranked Genjutsu from affecting them as well as breaking through any S ranked and lower non-Tsukiyomi based Genjutsu once per use at a small cost of their health. Should this barrier be employed however, the user cannot make use of any of their own Genjutsu abilities nor can they use offensive spiritual techniques while this is in use.
Note: Can only be used with Ketsuryūgan.
Note: While powerful, the effects of Ketsuryūgan Genjutsu only last while the user actively sustains the technique, preventing usage of other Ninjutsu at the same time. This indiscriminately prevents the use of chakra in other techniques outside of basic Taijutsu only.
Note: Can only be used once per turn. Preventive barrier use can only be done once every 4 turns, lasting for 3 turns and up to 2 times in total. Use to combat an S ranked Genjutsu ends this preventive barrier and adds an addition turn cooldown.
Note: Sharingan cannot pierce through Ketsuryūgan illusions.

So from my understanding, this technique is the generic Ketsuryūgan genjutsu technique and can be used in not only offensive, but also defensive, and supplementary uses as well initiated via eye contact or direct physical contact.
However while this technique is in use it cannot be used alongside any other technique besides basic Tai. This technique gives the user the freedom to create a genjutsu of there choosing ro cater to the situation and are stronger than normal genjutsu being that it removes excess chakra from the environment and objects can have different chakra signatures. Making it harder those with sensory abilities to determine they are under the effects of a genjutsu. With this technique, you can extract info, cause paralysis, or even relay memories into your target. You may even defend yourself against other genjutsu utilizing this technique, showcasing just how powerful this technique can be.


However, some confusion lies in the fact this technique says it can be damaging and buffs by 20, though the technique does kinda go over it, this technique has no offensive typing or damage numbers. Can you clarify this? Is it safe to imply that because the description states it can be used offensive that this is the case?
