It will be one team member against another, and you dont all have to be online at the same time, you can battle seperately. Here is an example;

Kitki vs. aVague
Hinata vs. Konohamaru

IT WILL NOT BE: Hinata kitki and HinataH vs. akira avague and konohamaru

Whichever team wins 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 3 battles will advance and the losers will be evaluated to see if any of them advance to the next round
