Why are women so sensitive? I don't understand why. I'm insensitive and really don't give a shit about a lot of things but then I have to deal with these stupid ass girls crying over illiterate boys at school. On top of that I have to deal with my mom at home whinning over how stressed she is and how she has no husband (tmi). So I do women act this way and why don't MOST men act like that? I bold, underline, capitalize, and color most red because not most guys are sensitive some are just pussies. :|

Bleh.

( btw sorry if this is offnesive o_o it was just on my mind. )

lol im 13 but ive seen and heard worse :p
OK...well here goes, female brain quite literally works differently to a man's brain, they are designed to act differently according to our most basic animal needs, i.e. women have a greater threshold for pain than men giving them the natural ability to go through child birth naturally an experience that would kill a man due to unbearable pain.

Similarly men are more adapted to handle mental stress and fatigue, men are known to keep secret from there significant others and even friends, I can vouch for this part with personal experience.

End of the day all this comes down to chemical reactions caused by the brain, for the most part that's why females are emotional and fragile, they often seek support from there loved one's to get them through hard times, I don't know about your friends but, Yoko I suggest you invest sometime in your mother, you don't have to do much really, just actively listen to her pretend to give a damn about her problems, she must be really frustrated and lonely that's why she's confining in her 13 year old daughter.

It must be said there are always exceptions to what I've mentioned above, especially in this day and age you find women like yourself and t_mala, and you'll also find men who are more in touch with their emotional side, the most important thing to remember is that you shouldn't judge people over how they choose to express their feelings and deal with them; remember everyone has the right to express how they feel!!!!

Hope this answered some of your questions

Do you have sources for that information? Because it sounds highly inaccurate. :|

I learn from her, the things i want and the things i dont want, same goes for everyone else im always around

Dear Yoko.

Well, if there is anywhere you can have an outlet of whatever you find difficult to express elsewhere, it's certainly here.

A lot of women are sensitive, and it seems often more so than men. This is an ongoing discussion of course, and one I doubt in which we will ever agree on in our politically correct little world. Thank god for the forums, where you can say about anything you like, yet.

I personally think men and women react different to things on a very general basis. On that very general basis, in which my argument will take place, it seems that when women encounter an emotionally distressful situation, they turn to tears. On an equally generalised presumption, men become agressive instead, and sometimes violent. They are both reactions that derive from times before we could use words to express ourselves, and they can be very hard to control once they take hold of us.

I personally don't like to 'whine', as you put it, but try to solve my problems by rationalise them. I don't think this has anything to do with me being a woman, or not being a man, but more about my upbringing and social conditioning.

On the other hand, I hardly ever get taken over by rage. Of course I get pissed off, like everyone does from time to time, but normally, and very annoyingly, when I get really angry, tears start to burst to the surface. I wish I could control it, and sometimes I can, but mostly, they will come, whether I want it or not.

I suppose on a very basic, instinctive level, women (in general, might I repeat) are not built to physically defend themselves, so their impulsive defence is to calm the offender (e.g. an agressive male) with a trigger for empathy (which may or may not work, of course). Let me add, this is very rarely a conscious reaction, it just happens on impulse.

Mostly it works. If I am having an argument with a person and we both get angry, when tears start dripping we both suddenly calm down. I'm sure you have experienced this. Who wants to yell at the girl who starts to cry? I think most people find that difficult.

But yes, whiny women.. how annoying is that? I'd say about as annoying as an agressive male acting like a violent idiot. Humans are animals, after all.

And thus endeth my Darwinistic speech.

P.S. Yes, whiny mums can be a bit much sometimes, but they have their worries, just like the rest of us. Next time, perhaps you could make her a cup of tea? If that does not work, feel free to post another ramble here. You know where to find us ;)
