Chapter 8- The Crimson King

I'll give anyone who understands where I got the title of this chapter from a +rep. I got it from 2 places. One isn't as obvious as the other :p

When the sudden explosion of raitsu came, the shinigami were doing different things, but they all felt it. Elias, Ragnaroc, and Kaze were preparing to leave. Retsu and Bishamon were kneeling over Akira, debating whether or not they should risk the release of Bishamon's bankai. Akira was drooling. Tobi and Goro were wondering where Zanji went. Zanji was eating a bush. Roku was spooning baked beans onto Mizutoki's tray. Yammamoto was asking a cactus if it cared to dance. Other, weaker shinigami fell over at the bankai's release, not having felt so much raitsu for over a hundred years. However, all of the aforementioned shinigami stopped what they were doing, and all turned toward the direction of the raitsu. Even Akira moved his eyes a bit toward the north, and, for a moment, Yammamoto's dementia left him, and he remembered who he was, and where he was.

Bishamon: Retsu, did you feel that? It felt like...

Retsu: Yeah... I know.

Bishamon: Do you think he's going to be alright ?

Retsu: Urahara will be fine... But it scares me to think of what kind of enemy he must be fighting...

Bishamon: Well, you realize what this means, don't you? Aizen already knows we're here. He obviously knows where Urahara is. And he'll probably plan on us going to his location. But if there are any other shinigami who are still alive out there, they'll be headed towards Urahara too. Our best bet then is to head north, to Urahara's aid, regardless of whether or not Aizen is expecting it. If we stay here, we'll be attacked by Aizen full force. If there's any hope left at all, it's that together, we and all the other shinigami who may still be alive can stop Aizen. And we'll need Akira to do that.

Retsu: You're right... let's just hope that if any shinigami are still alive, they'll head north as well.

Bishamon: There's just the question of who'll be in charge of the camp while we're gone.

Retsu: Come on? Are you really worried about that? Ichigo and Nel can handle it.

Meanwhile, in the Nevada Desert, Roku put down his ladle, took off his hairnet, and hurried over to Goro and Tobi. Mizutoki joined them.

Roku: Urahara's in trouble. We're going to him. Any other shinigami out there will as well.

Goro: Pft, well thanks for including us in the decision making process. >_>

Roku: Well, do you disagree?

Goro: No, I simply think that a governmental system in which a single leader makes decisions for a whole without input from the general public isn't morally justifiable. U_U

Roku: Now isn't the time for political debate, Goro. O_O

Mizutoki: What kind of enemy could Urahara be facing??

TOBI!: Maybe he just got dementia like Yammamoto.

Roku: Enough! Let's get going. TOBI!, Mizutoki. You two, coordinate everyone. We're leaving ASAP.

Goro: What about me?

Roku: You and I are going to finish our political debate. >: |

With everything under control in the Western Colony of Shinigami, we switch our focus to the Eastern Colony.

Mayuri: Damnit... I hate that Urahara.

Ragnaroc: Well, now we have a destination!

Enough of them. Elsewhere, Bishamon and Retsu were preparing to leave for Japan. Next to a fire sat a younger man with a thick orange beard. Next to him sat a green-haired woman with giant knockers!

Bishamon: Kurosaki, Nel. We're leaving you two in charge of the colony while we're gone. Think you can handle it this time?

Nel: Calm down, calm down. We only burnt everything down one time.

Ichigo: Damnit, Bishamon! At least no one died!! >:/

Bishamon: We well could've! You burnt at least a months's supply of food >.>

Ichigo: Hrmph. Where are you guys going, anyway??

Bishamon: Japan. Tokyo, to be exact. My Bankai allows us to teleport there, to my underground training area.

Zaraki, eavesdropping from a few yards away, popped out of nowhere at the mention of this.

Zaraki: Japan? Land of Pocky?!

Bishamon: Yes, yes. The Fabled Land of Pocky. >_> Why?

Zaraki: Lemme come!!!

Bishamon: No. I need you here.

Zaraki: Come onnnnnn. If you leave me here, I'll just be a detriment to everyone around me! O_O Watch!

Zaraki takes a burning stick out of the fire, and throws it at a nearby tent. Bishamon flash steps in front of the stick just before it hits the tent, catching it just in time.

Bishamon: What the hell!

Zaraki: See?? I'll kill EVERYone!!

Retsu: Maybe we should just let him come with us. O_O Maybe he'll get killed.

Bishamon: Agreed. O_O But you're going to have to hold Akira, Zaraki.

Zaraki: Deal! :D

Bishamon: Well, it's all decided, then. We'll teleport to Japan, heal Akira, and then meet up with you all back at camp.

Nel: Get going already!

Bishamon: Right. Retsu, Akira, Zaraki, come close to me. Bankai.

In a large raitsu explosion, Bishamon released his bankai. He, Retsu, Zaraki, and Akira were suddenly surrounded in a sphere of green raitsu. On the outside, it appeared to Ichigo and Nel that the sphere suddenly disappeared. On the inside, it appeared as though nothing happened, and the shield was lowered a few moments after it was created, and Bishamon sealed his Zanpakuto almost immediately.

Zaraki: That was fast. O_O

Bishamon: I tried to conceal my raitsu as much as possible. It's likely that it wasn't sensed by anyone who wasn't looking for it. Unfortunately, that means that Aizen probably saw it.

Back at the Central Colony, a Garganta opened up. Out of it walked a female arrancar with blue hair. On her cheek was a tattoo of the number 3.

Nel: Oh, HELL no. -_- That b*tch is going DOWN.
