Now you have two choices; Live life in the Soul Society, with few memories of your life, and possibly never finding your real family, and making a new family of people who are nice to you, or go to the academy and train to become a Soul Reaper, earning life in the Seireitei, by promising to protect it.

Name: Noctis Lucis Caelum

Appearance: Noctis is a man with spiky indigo-coloured hair and blue eyes. Unlike his peers in Soul Society, he wears a zip-up jacket with sleeves that reach his elbows and a collar that reaches his lower jaw. The jacket flares out towards the ends, making it almost similar to the Shinigami Shihakushō in appearance. He wears dark, flexible pants that allow for greater mobility in combat. He wears black leather gloves on his hands. He carries his Zanpakutō, a falchion named Mahhabureido [Mach Blade], on his right hip. He has a pouch containing throwing knives that rests on his right hip.

Personality: Noctis is a shy person who tries to hide it by "acting cool". Noctis is a man who acts tough because he feels it is his duty to protect his world and it's people. As a result, he sometimes acts rashly or overestimates his strength. However, he is a very intelligent and analytical person, being able to pick apart problems and solve them quickly and coming to a logical conclusion. This applies to combat as well, as he is able to note the weaknesses and strengths of his enemies and develop strategies to either counter or use them to his advantage. However, because of his rash personality and ego, he does not take his own weaknesses into account at times. Noctis is said to have a rebellious attitude, disliking the strict rules of Soul Society and acting as he pleases, sometimes getting his friends into trouble. Despite this, Noctis is protective of his friends.

Zanpakuto Name: Mahhabureido [Mach Blade]
Zanpakuto Appearance/Description: Noctis' Zanpakutō, Mahhabureido, is a silver falchion with a hilt resembling that of a motor engine. The entire weapon is a gritty silver colour. The power of the blade is Mach Flight, which works by imbuing the weapon with the user's Reiryoku. By doing this, the Reiryoku in the sword forms a signature link between it and the user via the Reiryoku imbued within it. By locking onto it and activating the Reiryoku within, Noctis is able to teleport to the sword. Unlike Shunpo, this technique happens instantly. However, the range of this technique is limited. Due to the limited amount of Reiryoku the sword can hold, the teleportation function can only be utilised if the sword is within 10 metres. Also, this ability cannot be used if the sword is within 4 metres of the enemy, due to the other Reiatsu's clouding out the Reiryoku's presence in the sword, weakening the signature link between the user's Reiryoku and the sword's Reiryoku beyond use.
